I have a tee-shirt depicting the face of a wailing infant (crying, "B-waah!") surrounded by a mock logo that says, "The Official Seal of the Democratic Party." I bought it (and wear it in public as often as I can) because it is so apropos of the whiny, misguided, small-mindedness of modern-day Democrats.
These character flaws inherent throughout this party of belly-achers have been amply demonstrated of late, over incidents of "alleged" vandalism that occurred in the days before President George W. Bush was formally inaugurated on Jan. 20.

As we usually do, WorldNetDaily first exclusively reported some of the details about this now-not-"alleged" damage – destruction that went so far beyond the pale of normal "pranks" that I said, in a Jan. 29 column, that I'd investigate, identify, and prosecute the little beggars who did the deeds.
As was often the case during Clinton-Gore, the people who worked for these two criminal bozos thought they were a law unto themselves. No doubt they believed that trashing stuff bought by the taxpayers was "no big deal" because hey, after all, it's "the government's money," not yours or mine (see Democratic opposition to the Bush tax cut plan for reference to this character trait). Oh, and "we can do as we damned well please."

But the newly inaugurated President Bush decided discretion was the better part of valor, and tried – for months – to put this incident behind him, the American people, and even the opposition party. But the opposition party just wouldn't leave well enough alone.
Democrats used to defending Clinton and Gore in the face of obvious scandal and malfeasance have called the Bush administration a pack of liars since Inauguration Day for even referencing the damage left behind by Democratic staffers. Adults in the White House did not waver, however, in the face of such third-grade taunting. Bush mandated that his staff would, instead, ignore the little children in the Democratic Party who kept carping about this incident, choosing instead to go on about the business of "changing the tone" in Washington and running the country.

But even adults can only take so much carping and whining from children.
So, after listening to the whiny, pubescent and shrill cries of some Democrats, the White House decided to put the prickly pinheads in their place and release at least a partial list of damage done to taxpayer-financed and -owned property by outgoing Clinton-Gore staffers.
According to the Washington Post, White House officials "released a list of damage [that included] ... obscene graffiti in six offices, a 20-inch-wide presidential seal ripped off a wall, 10 sliced telephone lines and 100 inoperable computer keyboards."
"For months, Democrats had questioned the administration's credibility because officials refused to document allegations of vandalism they made in the week after President Bush's inauguration. In April, the General Accounting Office said it was unable to confirm damage, in part because of what it called a 'lack of records' from the White House," the paper said.
And why weren't there any records? Because the adults in the Bush administration were trying to get settled and begin the people's business, as they have repeatedly said, rather than focus the country's attention on such petty, though outlandish, behavior by losing Democrats (or Democrat losers, whichever).

Prior to the release of the damage list, Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., and others wrote the Bush administration "demanding" an apology to departing Clinton-Gore staffers for "falsely" accusing them of vandalism.
Well, well.
I wonder, now that the vandalism has been officially recognized by the White House – and because Democrats were too stupid not to let a sleeping dog lie – will these same lawmakers be mature enough to admit they were wrong and issue their own apology to Mr. Bush and the country as a whole?
I doubt it because I believe the image of Democrats as depicted on my tee-shirt. How pathetic.
