America is at war.
Thousands of Americans are dead.
And now, this week, we have been warned by President Bush and the FBI that the Osama bin Laden-type barbarians may have chemical, biological and nuclear weapons and that we should expect another possible attempt to attack America.
Last week, Sean Hannity of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity and Colmes” told my “Listen America” national television audience, and the Liberty University student body and faculty, that this 21st-century war is terribly serious. He believes our children and grandchildren are in danger, telling our students, “We must win this war.” Indeed, we must win. Pacifism or appeasement will not work with these deranged terrorists any more than it would have worked with Adolph Hitler in World War II.
Prayer is urgently needed
God has burdened my heart to gather and galvanize one million prayer warriors to pray for America at this critical time in our nation’s history. I believe He has placed this burden on my heart so that people of faith throughout America can unite in one accord in beseeching God’s hand of protection over our nation. I am calling this effort simply PRAY FOR AMERICA.

- Our brave military men and women who may be in harm’s way;
- The safety of all American citizens here at home and around the world who may be endangered by terrorists;
- The economic health of our nation;
- The families of victims of the unspeakable terrorist attacks that took place on Sept. 11;
- That God will bring revival to our land, beginning with His church.
Prayer can heal America
God has promised to heal America if we will pray. In fact, II Chronicles 7:14 tells us: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Why one million prayer warriors?
I am recruiting one million prayer warriors …
- Because prayer can do anything God can do … and since God can do anything, prayer is omnipotent …

You can pray in your car, while you work, in your secret closet of prayer, early morning, late at night in your bed – literally everywhere and in every situation.
