Due to heightened concerns over terrorism, WorldNetDaily will no longer open packages received in the mail if the sender cannot be identified by the return address, said Joseph Farah, chief executive officer and editor.
Unexpected packages and those that cannot be clearly identified with a known sender will be returned or destroyed, Farah said.
“WorldNetDaily staff has received numerous threats for its news coverage and hard-hitting commentary of the war against terrorism,” said Farah. “We will not take unnecessary chances with our personnel. Thus, those sending packages to WorldNetDaily should be certain their return addresses are clear and that packaging is not suspect in any way.”
