"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."

A day seldom goes by that readers don't write to tell me how bad news makes them depressed.

I can relate. I've spent 25 years in the news business.
But today I want to issue a challenge to you. Do you really want some good news? How would you respond to it if you saw it? Could you handle it? What would you do with it?
Today, as you know, is the last day of November.

That means, if my calculations are correct, that tomorrow is Dec. 1.
December has always been a joyous month for me. Even though we're pretty certain Jesus wasn't really born in December, it is still the month we celebrate His birth, commemorate it, rejoice in it.

Just think about it. Some 2,000 years ago, a baby was born in a manger in Bethlehem – and the world has not been the same since.
Thank God.

There's something special about the majesty and miracle of Christmas. Words are inadequate to describe it. But that's just what we try to do in the December issue of Whistleblower magazine – remind you all about the majesty and the miracles of this season.
After Sept. 11, we're all searching for sturdy foundations we can trust. America is a little more spiritual than it was prior to that date. We're all looking inward. We're all a little more reflective. Faith is back. Prayer is popular again. Suddenly, 35 years after Time magazine asked the question, "Is God Dead," God is not only clearly alive, He's more relevant than ever before.

That's what the December issue of Whistleblower magazine is all about. And, believe me, this is one issue you will not want to miss. It's not only great reading, it's bound to be a collector's item – a treasure you will want to keep in your permanent library for your children and your children's children.
For this issue of WorldNetDaily's monthly magazine, we contacted a number of prominent religious and cultural leaders and asked them to participate in this special edition by offering their perspective on the subject of miracles in today's world.
Contributing to this special issue, in addition to Whistleblower's editors and writers, are Dr. James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Dr. Tim LaHaye, David A. Noebel, Rick Scarborough, Michael Medved, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Hal Lindsey, Dr. Ted Baehr, Jerry Falwell, Bob Just, Rabbi Daniel Lapin, David Barton, Professor Carol Iannone and columnist Ann Coulter.
The issue's haunting cover photo depicts a perfectly formed 20-foot-tall cross discovered amidst the rubble of the World Trade Center two days after the collapse of the twin towers. Construction worker Frank Silecchia happened upon it "while performing the soul-numbing work of pulling human bodies and body parts from the smoking wreckage," writes Coulter. Found in the midst of the wreckage, she adds, "it was standing straight, 20-feet high, surrounded by many smaller crosses."
America is standing straight, again, too. Funny how that tends to happen when we turn back to God, put our faith in Him rather than in ourselves.
So, prepare to be inspired. Prepare to be awed. Prepare to be rejuvenated with some good news for a change.
By its very nature, most news is bad. Yet this issue of Whistleblower is full of hope, inspiration, and yes, miracles. It is simply the best issue of any magazine I've ever read. I can say that because I was only peripherally involved in putting it together. It is a collaborative effort directed by Managing Editor David Kupelian and its strength is in the contributions of some of America's most gifted men and women of faith.
This may strike you as a crass commercial pitch. I'll take that risk. I really want every single WorldNetDaily reader getting this issue of Whistleblower – available through annual subscription or through single-copy purchase. If you are already getting the magazine, make sure you pass it on to your friends. There's something mystical here – something supernatural. Americans need a lift. They need their spirits boosted. They need to refocus on the things that remain rather than the temporal.
I have the prescription for you, America. It's "One Nation Under God," the December special issue of Whistleblower magazine.
