Before joining WorldNetDaily in 1999, Kovacs was assignment manager for the ABC-TV news affiliate in West Palm Beach, Fla., as well as the USA-TV affiliate in Miami.
After spending 10 years in radio as a reporter, anchor and editor – culminating with five years at Florida's Radio Network in Orlando – Kovacs spent a year overseas publishing three books as special projects editor for the Budapest Business Journal.

He's the recipient of numerous awards from the Associated Press, United Press International and other organizations for news reporting.
A native of New York City, Kovacs was raised in New Jersey and Connecticut and now resides in southern Oregon.
