Before joining WorldNetDaily in 1999, Kovacs was assignment manager for the ABC-TV news affiliate in West Palm Beach, Fla., as well as the USA-TV affiliate in Miami.

After spending 10 years in radio as a reporter, anchor and editor – culminating with five years at Florida’s Radio Network in Orlando – Kovacs spent a year overseas publishing three books as special projects editor for the Budapest Business Journal.

He’s the recipient of numerous awards from the Associated Press, United Press International and other organizations for news reporting.

A native of New York City, Kovacs was raised in New Jersey and Connecticut and now resides in southern Oregon.

“Joe Kovacs has made an indelible imprint on the personality of WorldNetDaily with his headline-writing flair and eclectic but journalistically sound news judgment,” said Farah.

Kovacs heads a team of four full-time news editors responsible for supervising 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week news coverage in the Internet’s leading independent newssite.
