WASHINGTON – Katherine Harris swings into the nation’s capital today to continue her barnstorming media tour to promote her new book, “Center of the Storm,” as it climbs onto the best-seller lists.

Following appearances on NBC, CNS, CNN, Fox and MSNBC the last two days, the first release by WND Books rocketed from 8,422 on Amazon’s best-selling list to the top 100 – and it continues to climb.

Today, Harris, the former Florida secretary of state who played such a high-profile role in the 2000 presidential election, is scheduled to appear on MSNBC’s “Buchanan and Press” show at 2:30 Eastern and Fox News Channel’s “The Big Story With John Gibson” at 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Following a reception hosted by WorldNetDaily Editor Joseph Farah at the Capitol Hill Club at 6 p.m., C-SPAN is scheduled to air live her broadcast from the Westwood One studios on the “Jim Bohannon Show,” heard on 200 stations nationwide.

Harris wrote “Center of the Storm” to answer her critics and tell her friends about the principles she used to weather the stormiest moment of her life – her pivotal role in certifying Florida’s vote making George W. Bush president. Harris also is running for the U.S. Congress in south Florida.

“Center of the Storm” is now available in bookstores throughout the country, but it is on sale at a price below Amazon’s at WND’s online store. Autographed copies are also available exclusively at the WND online store.

Harris also will appear today on “The Kirby Wilbur Show” in Seattle, Blanquita Cullum’s nationally syndicated “The BQ View” show, the nationally syndicated “Ken Hamblin Show” and “The Howie Carr Show” in Boston.
