Chastain guest on radio show

WorldNetDaily exclusive columnist Jane Chastain will be a guest on the nationally syndicated radio program “American Breakfast” this morning at 8 a.m. Eastern time.

Chastain will discuss her column in which she covers the sensational trial of Lt. Cmdr. Jack Daly, who was blinded by a laser in 1997 while on a photographic surveillance mission of a Russian-flagged ship. The trial is the result of Daly’s lawsuit against the Far Eastern Shipping Company.

Chastain says she is sickened that the U.S. government has become one of Daly’s adversaries.

“It is chilling that Judicial Watch had to step in to represent Daly in civil court after the Navy abandoned him over an incident that happened on April 4, 1997,” she writes. “When one of our officers, on a photographic surveillance mission of a Russian-flagged ship over the Strait of Juan de Fuca is lased, it is either an unfortunate accident or an act of war. At the very least, it should have been treated as the latter until the facts were thoroughly investigated and fully known.”

“American Breakfast,” hosted by Top-100-talker Phil Paleologos, airs weekday mornings from 5 to 9 a.m. Eastern time and is syndicated in more than 250 markets via the Langer Broadcasting Network. Paleologos explains the uniqueness of his show: “This program, broadcast from an all-American diner, does what McTalker’s ignore. We juice up the red-white-and-blue, timeless ideals of Mr. and Mrs. Middle America.” Paleologos often invites local patrons of his diner to join in on the discussion.
