"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

Some people were shocked by the recent news that a philandering bisexual, radical feminist, abortion crusader was selected as the new president of the Young Women's Christian Association.

Not me.
Patricia Ireland, former president of the National Organization of Women, will fit right in at the YWCA.

This is not the Y your mother told you about. This is the new Y – the radical feminist, abortion crusading, globalist Y.
Hiring Patricia Ireland is a logical next step for the ever-so politically correct YWCA of 2003. She's a picture of the liberated woman of our time. She's married to a man in Florida, but she keeps a female concubine on the side in Washington. As she put it in her autobiography, "What Women Want": "I have a husband, and he is very important in my life. I also have a companion, and she is very important in my life."

By the way, the YWCA is relocating its headquarters from New York to Washington. How convenient for Ms. Ireland and her gal pal.
Ireland is a member of the board of directors of an organization called GenderPac, a transgender group that promotes sex-change operations and cross-dressing for teen-agers. GenderPac has joined forces with Human Rights Campaign to work for special legal protections for cross-dressers, drag queens, transsexuals and shemales – those who maintain both male and female characteristics.

If the YWCA is seeking someone to lead it into even more uncharted radical waters, it could not have picked a more appropriate candidate for the job. But the truth is the YWCA has been embracing extremism and socialist activism for a long time.
The YWCA hates Israel and loves every facet of Yasser Arafat's political agenda for the Middle East.

On Iraq, the YWCA not only opposed its liberation, the group opposed all sanctions against Saddam Hussein's regime.
There's only one kind of abortion that bothers the YWCA – the kind employed to snuff out the lives of little baby girls because they are girls. It's OK if it's used to kill little boys and girls without regard to gender.

The YWCA has become a kind of feminist-fascist organization – maybe exactly what Rush Limbaugh had in mind when he coined the term "femi-nazi."
Maybe the biggest surprise for people was the idea that a "Christian" organization would hire Patricia Ireland for anything. Don't be fooled. There is nothing "Christian" about the YWCA any more. It was founded 150 years ago by real Christians. Today, it is run by a collection of witches, atheists and people who think being asked about their faith is a type of "McCarthyism."
That's what Ireland suggested when Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly put the simple question to her: "Are you a Christian?"
Her faced twitched. She grew increasingly uncomfortable. She accused the host of some form of "McCarthyism" for asking the obvious question. She could not answer. She suggested she wasn't even sure what he meant.
"Come on, Ms. Ireland," said O'Reilly. "You know what a Christian is. It's someone who believes Jesus Christ is God. Do you believe Jesus Christ is God?"
"I come from a Christian faith background," she explained.
That was evidently good enough for the YWCA. And it certainly tells me all I need to know.
So let the YWCA have Patricia Ireland. They deserve each other. We shouldn't be trying to convince the YWCA to fire her. We ought to persuade the YWCA to change its name from the Young Women's Christian Association to the Young Women Con Artists. It's more descriptive, more accurate and doesn't bear false witness.
