G2B sources in Lebanon say Saddam Hussein has deposited $1 billion in Bank Al Mawared in Beirut.

Hussein is said to have received help in the transaction from Lebanese President Emile Lahoud’s son of the same name.

Reportedly, the younger Emile Lahoud had other business relationships with the Iraqi dictator.

Lebanon is occupied by some 25,000 Syrian troops and is a political client state of Damascus. It also serves as a major base for international terrorist groups under the sponsorship of Syria and Iran.
