Pat Roush, the American whose daughters were kidnapped and taken to Saudi Arabia where they live as captives, will be a guest on Fox News Channel’s “Day Side with Linda Vester” today at 1 p.m. Eastern to discuss her new book, “At Any Price,” as well as her recent efforts to free another woman’s daughter and grandchildren from the kingdom.
Roush’s recent release from WND Books tells the gripping story of her losing her daughters and how she was prevented by her own government from retrieving them.
It has been more than 17 years since Alia and Aisha, then 3 and 7 respectively, were taken by their Saudi father, whom they hardly knew, to Saudi Arabia. The book shows how Roush found herself thrust into high-stakes international politics due to her efforts to free the girls and how the U.S. government betrayed her to protect Saudi interests.
Also appearing on the show will be Debra Dornier, the mother of Sarah Saga, another American held hostage in Saudi Arabia. Saga, an adult, has sough sanctuary at the U.S. Consulate in Jeddah and, according to Roush, has begged U.S. officials to bring her home. During the show, Saga will be contacted via telephone to tell her story.
