Librarians, pornography, communism

By WND Staff

WND news editor Art Moore will be a guest on the nationally syndicated radio program “American Breakfast” this morning at 8 a.m. Eastern time to discuss recent controversy surrounding the American Library Association.

Moore penned WorldNetDaily’s exclusive story this week on the ALA’s refusal to help 14 fellow librarians imprisoned in a March crackdown by the Castro regime in Cuba. Some independent librarians, who had stocked George Orwell’s anti-totalitarian classic “Animal Farm,” have been held for 26 years by the nation’s dictator.

The ALA also made news this week when the Supreme Court struck down its challenge to a law requiring libraries that receive federal funds to have filters on their computers to protect children from Internet pornography.

Broadcasting live from the Shawmut Diner in New Bedford, Mass., host Phil Paleologos invites “American Breakfast” listeners every weekday morning to pull up a stool and participate in lively discussions about American ideals.

Every Friday, “American Breakfast” features a WorldNetDaily reporter, editor or columnist in the 8 a.m. Eastern hour.
