PA TV video urges Israel's destruction

Despite rhetoric about wanting to secure peace with Israel, Palestinian officials, through PA television, have begun broadcasting a music video that promotes the use of violence to effect the destruction of the Jewish state.

According to Palestinian Media Watch, PA TV last week "started re-broadcasting a short clip that reaffirms the fundamental PLO-PA message, that the goal and end result of Palestinian violence will be Israel's destruction."

The message is communicated through the use of visual symbols accompanied by song lyrics.

The first image includes a dripping heart in the shape of Israel, which is meant to symbolize pain and suffering cause because of the Jewish state's existence, PMW said.

Another image shows arms and hands holding rocks sprouting up from Israel. Rock-throwing is considered by Palestinians as the most fundamental form of violence against Israel.

A third bit of symbolism includes the Palestinian flag covering Israel and then resting above the nation, representing the total conquest of the Jewish state.

Here are the translated lyrics that are sung as the flag image is shown:
