WND news editor Art Moore will be a guest on the nationally syndicated radio program “American Breakfast” tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Eastern time to discuss the fate of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, the brain-damaged Florida woman scheduled to begin starving to death on Oct. 15.
Schiavo has been caught in a legal tug-of-war for 13 years, ever since she collapsed in her home at age 26. Now in a “persistent vegetative state,” Schiavo has been denied the opportunity for therapy or rehabilitation by her husband and guardian, Michael Schiavo. Judge George Greer has ordered that her only means of sustenance, a feeding tube in her abdomen, be removed next week. This week, Gov. Jeb Bush filed a court brief in defense of the woman’s “constitutional right to life.”
Broadcasting live from the Shawmut Diner in New Bedford, Mass., host Phil Paleologos invites “American Breakfast” listeners every weekday morning to pull up a stool and participate in lively discussions about American ideals.
Every Friday, “American Breakfast” features a WorldNetDaily reporter, editor or columnist in the 8 a.m. Eastern hour.
