WND exclusive columnist Jane Chastain will be a guest on the nationally syndicated radio program "American Breakfast" tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Eastern time to discuss her column taking federal security officials to task for the handling of the recent discovery of banned items on two Southwest passenger jets.
While many are chastising the college junior who planted the material, Chastain says it's the officials from the Transportation Security Administration who should be punished.
Writes Chastain: " It's been over two years since the tragic hijackings that killed over 3,000 Americans and did billions of dollars in damage. Despite federalizing airport screeners and the consolidation of 22 federal agencies into the Department of Homeland Security, we still can't prevent box cutters – the airline terrorists' weapons of choice – from being taken aboard our commercial planes.
"It is time that the heads of [TSA chief Adm. James] Loy and his top officials roll. Only when there is accountability from those at the top can we expect any kind of accountability from those further down the line. "
Broadcasting live from the Shawmut Diner in New Bedford, Mass., host Phil Paleologos invites "American Breakfast" listeners every weekday morning to pull up a stool and participate in lively discussions about American ideals.
Every Friday, "American Breakfast" features a WorldNetDaily reporter, editor or columnist in the 8 a.m. Eastern hour.
