Star Parker on radio, TV today

By WND Staff

Star Parker, the author of WND Books’ latest release, “Uncle Sam’s Plantation,” will be a guest today on Joseph Farah’s “WorldNetDaily RadioActive,” MSNBC’s “Buchanan & Press” and CNBC’s “Capitol Report” program.

Farah’s show airs daily nationwide from 3 to 6 p.m. Eastern time and can be heard live on the Internet.

Parker is scheduled to appear on cable network CNBC’s “Capitol Report” at 5:45 p.m. Eastern. “Buchanan & Press” airs at 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Pacific.

“America has two economic systems,” says Parker, “capitalism for the rich, and socialism for the poor.”

Subtitled, “How Big Government Enslaves America’s Poor and What We Can Do About It,” Parker’s book presents a solution to the ineffective $400 billion welfare program: A faith-based plan not sponsored by the state. In “Uncle Sam’s Plantation,” she offers five simple yet profound steps that will allow the nation’s poor to go from entitlement and slavery to empowerment and freedom.

Parker knows the welfare system all too well. Once caught up in the miserable world of welfare fraud, sex, drugs and abortion, she underwent what many have called a miraculous transformation into what she is today – one of America’s leading advocates for true, faith-based success and empowerment of the nation’s poor.
