No berth for Naval Academy sodomists

By Les Kinsolving

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On Nov. 11, Veterans Day, the U.S. Naval Academy was desecrated by the Sodomy Lobby.

Thirty-two USNA graduates, led by one Jason Petrie of the Class of 1989, appeared on the Academy grounds – with no advance notice to the Alumni Association, from which they demanded an alumni chapter for homosexuals – in the presence of a number of the pro-sodomy-acceptance media, which gave them considerable coverage.

Considerably less Big Media coverage was given to the wonderful news of all 28 members of the Naval Academy Alumni Association unanimously voting down the demand.

Chairman of this alumni organization is retired four-star Adm. Carlisle Trost – former chief of naval operations. He and his fellow board members had the wisdom and morality to stop this effort to set up a Buggers-in-Bancroft chapter.

Skid Heyworth, the alumni association’s vice president of communications told WND of receiving a phone call from the San Francisco Chronicle, whose reporter asked: “Were you surprised by this request?”

To which he replied: “Yes, because we never heard about it until lunchtime on Veterans Day.”

That is, at least, understandable, if not ethical – a surprise invasion of sodomists, even at the cost of desecrating Veterans Day at the Academy.

Very good riddance to this proposal.

Meanwhile, further proof that the Sodomy Lobby never sleeps: Only days after being rejected at the Academy, this sexual pressure group had its great ally, the New York Times, devote a quarter page to the coming-out of retired Army generals Virgil Richard and Keith Kerr and Coast Guard Adm. Alan Steinman who claim that “Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell” has been “ineffective and undermined the military’s core values: truth, honor, dignity, respect and integrity … They said they had been forced to lie to their friends, family and colleagues to serve their country.”

And speaking of their alleged devotion to the military’s “core values of truth and honor,” these three (at-long-last) confessed liars have finally confessed their sexual orientation. It can be wondered whether (and with whom) these star-ranked officers engaged in their brand of sexual deviance. The Times reported: “The officers were reluctant to discuss their personal relationships, in part, they said, for fear of the consequences to themselves and loved ones.”

And besides, who should intelligently believe these officers who confessed their lying for so many years – until they are safe in retirement for the Sodomy Lobby to use?

Correction: Concerning Saturday’s column, from several alert readers of WND, I have received information from the Oxford English Dictionary, and elsewhere, that what I wrote of as “The derivation of the street vernacular for sexual intercourse” is far earlier than “the pre-Civil War disciplinary U.S. Navy reports ‘For Unauthorized Carnal Knowledge’.” I retract and apologize since the origin is medieval.
