“The American Prophecies,” the blockbuster book that made the New York Times best-sellers list three weeks before its release in July, is still selling strong, currently sitting at No. 4 on Amazon.com’s sales chart.
Last summer, the book by Mike Evans was on the USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-sellers lists and hit No. 1 on both Amazon and Barnes & Nobles’ online site. On both sites, “The American Prophecies” knocked Bill Clinton’s “My Life” off the top spot.
Bible-believing Christians are rallying around Evans’ book, which supports President Bush and charges Clinton with the lack of moral clarity that led to the terror crisis worldwide.
In his new book, Evans explores current events in the light of ancient Scriptures and America’s place in biblical prophecy.
The hatred of the Arab world for the West, and toward America in particular, Evans writes, can be traced entirely to this nation’s identification with Israel. America flirts with danger, Evans says, when it accommodates the Arab world merely for the sake of oil. As God said to Abraham, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.”
