‘Faith Under Fire’ hits TV screens

A new PAX TV show debuts tonight that examines in lively debate style issues involving religion, spirituality and morality.

“Faith Under Fire,” hosted by author Lee Strobel, takes on topics from Islam to atheism to church and state debates with guests including WorldNetDaily’s Joseph Farah, David Limbaugh, Hugh Hewitt and Schmuley Boteach as well as Hugh Hefner, Tony Campolo and Barry Lynn.

PAX TV reaches 89 percent of U.S. television households via nationwide broadcast television, cable and satellite distribution systems. PAX TV’s original programming slate for the 2004-2005 broadcast season features 10 new primetime series.

The premiere show tonight airs at 10 p.m. Eastern and Pacific, 9 p.m. Central and Mountain. It features Hewitt, Sam Harris, William Lane Craig, Richard Carrier, John Kilner, Betty Rollin, Cal Thomas and John Movers debating “The End of Faith,” “Did Jesus Rise from the Dead?,” “Assisted Suicide” and “Is God a Republican?”
