Have you noticed how John Kerry has an affinity for America’s mortal enemies?
Have you noticed how John Kerry tends to embrace and appease those who hate this country?
Have you noticed how this tendency defines the man who would be president?
It all started back in 1971, when Kerry came home from Vietnam – and promptly switched sides. Though some of his swiftboat comrades would tell you he was never much of an ally even when he wore the uniform of the U.S. Navy.
But Kerry didn’t just “protest the war,” as he likes to explain it. He sided with the North Vietnamese Communist enemy. He bought into their party line and became one of the most effective, fifth column shills for these tyrants and butchers.
Likewise, throughout the Cold War, Kerry seldom had a bad thing to say about the Kremlin. He opposed nearly every significant defense appropriation as President Ronald Reagan led the way to a victory in the global struggle.
And now John Kerry is at it again.
Now he is advocating establishing relations with the terrorist regime of Iran – even going so far as to propose giving Tehran the nuclear fuel it seeks as a “test” to determine the mullahs’ sincerity about using it only for peaceful purposes.
I feel like I’m living in the Twilight Zone because, despite this incredible history and these dangerous positions Kerry holds today, nearly half of U.S. voters want to elect him president of the United States.
Whether the United States provides Iran with nuclear fuel or not, one thing is certain: The regime intends to build nuclear weapons as fast as it possibly can. That terrorist nation, one of three singled out by President Bush as “the axis of evil,” will soon be capable of hurling nuclear weapons at Israel – or even London and Berlin. It would also be capable of putting those nuclear weapons in the hands of terrorists who could bring them directly to the United States.
When Kerry proposed in the first presidential debate this insane idea of providing nuclear fuel to Iran, I really thought he had perhaps just made some terrible gaffe. However, it is the official policy of his campaign, according to the Kerry website.
And even before Kerry mentioned his plan for selling Iran the rope it would use to hang us, Teresa Heinz Kerry was also talking about a change of attitude toward one of the most repressive, backward and deadly regimes in the world.
The way we live in peace in a family, in a marriage, in the world, is not by threatening people, is not by showing off your muscles. It’s by listening, by giving a hand sometimes, by being intelligent, by being open and by setting high standards.
In case anyone wasn’t certain which nation she was talking about, Heinz Kerry elaborated – even mentioning Iran by name and denouncing the administration’s warnings to Tehran: “There are about 50 countries in the world that have the capability to build nuclear weapons. Are we going to attack them all?” she said.
It should be of grave concern to every American that among Kerry’s top fund-raisers are three Iranian-Americans who have been pushing for dramatic changes in U.S. policy toward Iran.
I’m talking about Hassan Nemazee, 54, an investment banker based in New York, who has raised more than $100,000. Why is he betting on Kerry? Read Teresa’s lips.
I’m talking about Faraj Aalaei, who has raised between $50,000 and $100,000 for the Kerry campaign. Why is he betting on Kerry? Read Teresa’s lips.
I’m talking about his wife, Susan Akbarpour, whom the Kerry campaign also lists as having raised between $50,000 and $100,000 for the campaign. Why is she betting on Kerry? Read Teresa’s lips.
And the Iranians may not have to read Teresa’s lips. There may be more direct communication at work between Kerry and the terrorist-supporting mullah regime.
Last February, WorldNetDaily reported that Iran’s official Mehr News Agency had received an e-mail from Kerry’s campaign pitching the candidate as one who will “repair the damage done” to international relations by Bush.
Yes, once again, Kerry is doing what he always does – what he has done ever since he came to the attention of the American people in 1971 and, in fact, what first brought him to the attention of the American people.
He is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
But, this time, the enemy is not a group of communists in black pajamas with conventional weapons. This time, the enemy is a soon-to-be nuclear-armed jihadist nation with one goal in mind – destroying the “Great Satan,” otherwise known as the United States of America.
