This is latest tally of electoral votes for each presidential candidate. Next to each state is the total number of electoral votes controlled by that state and the name of the candidate who won that state – as that information becomes available.

Totals for both President Bush and Sen. Kerry are included at the top of the list. The winning candidate must receive at least 270 electoral votes.
