Amber Frey, the "other woman" in the murder case of Laci Peterson, does not want Scott Peterson executed for killing his wife.

The New York Post reports Frey wept upon learning her former lover was found guilty of murdering his wife and unborn son, even though it was her testimony that helped convict the fertilizer salesman.
"I could hear the tears in her voice" after the verdict came down, Amber's father, Ron Frey, told the paper. "She is against abortion and the death penalty."
He acknowledged his daughter "is one of the biggest reasons he was convicted. But she did what she had to do. She couldn't let this man run around loose."
Scott Peterson's first-degree murder conviction makes him eligible for the death penalty under California law.
Amber Frey, 29, is a principal witness in the trial, and is not allowed to speak to the media due to a protective gag order imposed by the judge.
During jury deliberations, Amber is said to have sensed there would be a conviction, so she spent time in prayer with a church group in Fresno, Calif.
"The purpose of praying and being consoled was she knew her testimony was strong, that she told the truth and that it was a death-penalty case," her father said. "They suggested they turn it over to God and leave it in his hands."
A pregnant Laci Peterson, 27, disappeared on Christmas Eve two years ago from her Modesto, Calif., home. Her body and the body of her unborn son, named Conner, washed ashore four months later in San Francisco Bay, in the area where her husband said he was fishing.
Prosecutors claimed Peterson killed his wife then dumped her weighted body into the bay.
The jurors unanimously agreed Peterson planned the murder of his wife and found him guilty, without premeditation, in the murder of his son.
