We stand by wondering who will stop the communist organization called the American Civil Liberties Union. We wonder how our elected judges ever got elected in the first place with their liberal ideology. We see child pornography on the computers of our own law-enforcement personnel.
We watch our twin towers and the Pentagon get destroyed by stolen aircraft.
We've seen a mother risk and lose her life to come to America so that her son will not be raised in a communist environment, only to watch him be returned to Cuba. Yes, the father could have been given asylum here in America – after all, we are bigger than Cuba. We just didn't have a president willing to stand up to a tiny communist country.
We saw a group of people killed in cold blood – children included – in Waco, Texas, because they wished to follow the dream of freedom of religion.
We elect and re-elect a president from a different party only to get more of the same. We're now in a war that has a hidden enemy (even within our own borders.) The entire 9-11 tragedy leaves us with so many questions – like why was building No. 7 destroyed if it was structurally sound? The fact that building No. 7 did indeed house the CIA and other such offices should make us all at least wonder.
Today, I still wonder how the heck can Osama bin Laden still be on the run? I also wonder why are we still in Afghanistan and Iraq. I mean with all of the turmoil in the world today, we know we still have to face like Iran, North Korea, a possible conflict with China over Taiwan, Africa, the communist rebels in South America (who are probably coming through our borders), the resurging communist policies in Russia, the rebels in the Philippines ... to name a few. So, why are we spending billions trying to help people who don't seem to want our help?
Our nation's borders and ports remain leaky.
Truth be told, this world has become so corrupt, it will never be fixed and the rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer. Our own nation will never recover from the downward spiral that began a generation ago as long as there is an American Civil Liberties Union active. Our jails are so full of criminals, our hospitals so full of illegal aliens, our courts so full of deceitful lawyers, our Congress so full of a bunch of over-the-hill liberals.
Our streets are full of narcotics and pushers, our schools are full of teachers who are anti-Christian, our intelligence agencies full of spies from the other side.
If it were not for the fact that we all must sometime face the fact that we are mortals who must answer to God, whether or not you believe in Him, we would probably never repent or question our existence.
The United Nations can get away with anything, because it is corrupt also.
The downfall of America has taken the communists longer than they thought, but without firing a single shot, they have been successful in manipulating circumstances so that we are rotting away from within.
I don't believe we will ever turn it around. Certainly a spiritual revival could do it, but in America where sex, drugs, and the pyramid on the dollar reign without conscience, I don't expect to see it. There will be some progress made on a temporary basis, but it won't be enough.
This republic, this freedom of ours, democracy, will fall to a coming world leader. I don't know if it will be communism or a resurgence of the Nazi movement. It might be the USA will fall to the Islamic fundamentalists, or to the United Nations' will.
I'd like to fix it so I can continue to sit and watch my favorite football team, listen to my favorite music, play with my hobbies, mow my lawn and go to church, but I can't seem to find my "easy" button. My guess is neither can George W. Bush.
