In a 2004 appearance on Howard Stern's radio program, Franken announced he was "prepared to debate any Republican" after some GOP hecklers at one of Franken's speaking engagements rejected his challenge to a debate. In addition, Franken has stated publicly that he is prepared to offer Fox News talk-show host Bill O'Reilly $10,000 if he can refute his charges against him.

"Well, maybe O'Reilly doesn't need the money," states Skorski, "but I accept the challenge."
"When Al Franken smears or calls someone a liar, people listen," writes Skorski in the new WND Books release. Until now, however, Franken's claims have not been seriously challenged by the mainstream media. Even conservative journalists, with a few exceptions, haven't taken the time to do the research to expose Franken's "deceitful and dishonest disseminations," asserts Skorski.
"This book takes the fight to the guy who has challenged and begged the right wing to prove he lied," writes Skorksi.

From "I'm a bad liar; I never lie. That is unless it's absolutely necessary" (from "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them") to "Telling the truth is something I take seriously, and I try to hold myself to an impossibly high standard" (also from "Lies") Skorski "lays down the gauntlet to the media in the hope that they will be a little more skeptical of his claims, particularly with the release of his new book and his statements and appearances."
"…Pants on Fire" releases nationally Monday but is available now at ShopNetDaily.
