A 6-year-old Ohio boy is facing expulsion for touching a female classmate's rear end.
The boy's mother, Yolanda Kirk, said she is not arguing the Northwest Local School District's right to discipline students.

"Don't get me wrong – it's not right for any child to physically touch another child," she said. "I don't condone it," as reported by WLWT-TV in Cincinnati.
A letter from the school district claims her son displayed excessive affection, engaged in inappropriate touching and used obscene gestures. Kirk, however, believes her son's expulsion is excessive.
"He's 6, he just got out of kindergarten," she said.
Kirk disagreed with the way the school officials handled it. She claims her son was forced, without her knowledge, to sign a paper admitting he was wrong, then the school's security guard publicly embarrassed him.
"He took him to classroom and told my son's peers what he'd done, and said, 'Don't you ever touch anyone's private areas. Are there any questions?'" Kirk said. "You don't have to embarrass a child like that," according to the Detroit News.
Kirk said her son was suspended once for touching a little girl's bottom, but the second time she says was unintentional.
"He accidentally touched the little girl's bottom – he told me accidentally – and he apologized to the little girl," Kirk said.
