On this week's best-seller lists at ShopNetDaily, "Intelligent Design vs. Evolution – Letters to an Atheist" has proved a strong favorite among WND readers – debuting at No. 3 – while David Kupelian's "The Marketing of Evil" and Ann Coulter's "Godless" outsell all other products.
"The Marketing of Evil" – banned by faculty of Ohio State University as "hate literature" and "homophobic tripe" – is subtitled "How Radicals, Elitists, and Pseudo-Experts Sell Us Corruption Disguised as Freedom." Kupelian's book was thrown into the center of a major controversy at OSU's Mansfield campus. Recently, the entire faculty voted to investigate librarian Scott Savage on allegations of "sexual harassment" and complaints that he made the campus "unsafe" and "threatening" – all for suggesting the school's freshman class read Kupelian's popular but controversial book.
ShopNetDaily is WND's own internal store, stocked with books and other products published by, created by or handpicked by the company's marketing team.
In anticipation of the opening of the film version of "The Da Vinci Code" Friday, the DVD "Breaking the Da Vinci Code" was in the top five at ShopNetDaily once again this week. The documentary sets the historical record straight-through interviews with book authors and the world's leading experts in archeology, theology, art history, philosophy and science.
Shooting up to No. 1 on the best-seller list at WND Book Service is Ann Coulter's latest, "Godless: The Church of Liberalism," the pundits most controversial – and entertaining – book ever.
