A hatred so deep

I wonder how anyone can defeat an enemy that hates their opponents more than they love their own children? I can't imagine how in a ''politically correct'' world that it is a realistic goal. I guess it is time to either abandon our goal of defeating Islamic terrorists or to drive a stake in the heart of political correctness. Easy choice for me.

It is time we call a spade a spade. The free world is in a war with Islamic fundamentalists who use women and children for everything from body armor to offensive weapons. When they are losing a battle they hide behind these women and children within their communities. When the good guys kill these cowards, the press describes them as ''innocent civilians'' as they wear street clothes and not uniforms. When they want to inflict hurt on the opposition they call their local bomb maker, like you call your local tailor, and have their children fitted for a custom-made explosives belt. The kids then blow themselves up, kill the infidels, and head to heaven. They do so all at the direction of their parents and religious leaders. Is it me or is this some really sick stuff?

Again, how can you fight an enemy that hates you more than it loves its own children?

I am tired of al-Jazeera & CNN referring to terrorists as ''insurgents'' or ''guerillas'' fighting the only way they know how. Is it acceptable to the West to allow innocent children to be used this way? Where are Marian Wright Edelman and Hillary Clinton; the self-promoted children's advocates and their voices against such barbarism? Using kids got Hillary into the Senate to begin with. Children's Defense Fund ring a bell with anyone? Is Hillary too busy making campaign speeches in the Senate attacking Rumsfeld to ignore the exploitation of children by Islamic cowards? Where is the outrage at terrorists parking their rocket launchers in the baby's nursery in Southern Lebanon? The reports are clear now that the attack at Qana and the subsequent death of ''innocents'' is questionable at best. Questions that the media have conveniently ignored. I thought they were our ''collective conscience'' seeking the truth?

Listening to the drubbing that Hillary gave Donald Rumsfeld on Thursday made me want to puke. Democrats are so set on this administration admitting failure, that they refuse to understand it is folks like Hillary that short circuit the process of victory with their political correctness. The leaders testifying before Hillary were clear about how important it is to stop the violence, and if it is not stopped a full-blown civil war will ensue. Yet how are the troops supposed to get this done? Do you think you can do it by ''winning the hearts and minds'' of the criminals who strap bombs on their kids? That is like trying to reason with a car thief to stop stealing cars because it is the right thing to do. Offer him late-night basketball so he won't steal. Maybe Hillary can start a late-night basketball league in Baghdad so Ahmed will be slam-dunking instead of fitting children with explosives and building IEDs in his idle time. How can we expect our troops to secure the peace when they are ordered to treat this whole theater as a ''legal'' issue versus what it is – A WAR.

Just yesterday another six indictments were handed down alleging our soldiers ''assaulted'' Iraqis. Iraqis who have no problem blowing their children and each other up, yet we have offended them? Assaulted them? Give me a break. I can't take it anymore. Imagine this headline in the papers in 1944: ''Soldiers Indicted for Assaulting Germans.'' The newspapers would have been burned down. Yet today the number of brave soldiers who sit in the brig awaiting trial is growing. Soldiers whom are being sacrificed at the altar of political correctness by the pagan priest Murtha and his accomplice priestess Hillary.

Maybe Hillary has more in common with the Islamic folks than she would admit. Apparently she hates Bush more than she loves her country or the soldiers who serve it. Where is her support for the soldiers awaiting trial? It is a national disgrace that Ramsey Clark has run to the aid of a butcher like Saddam Hussein and yet the brightest legal minds in America have abandoned our soldiers. Maybe names like Edwin Meese or Gerry Spence could find it in their hearts to step up and make sure our Marines at least get a fair trial.

We have a choice to make in America and we need to make it very, very soon. We are fighting an enemy who hates America, Israel and anyone whom they deem an ''infidel'' more than they love their children. They will stop at nothing to reach their goal, for in their sick world they believe Allah will be pleased if they kill.

The only choice, as I see it, is us or them. A cease- fire will only allow the enemy to re-arm. A treaty will only be broken and result in nuclear weapons. Negotiations will only be ignored. Remember, if they are willing to kill their kids what is the chance they will honor their word? It is not going to happen and it is time we realize it and act accordingly.

The only answer here is brute force. Years ago there was an armed robbery in Southern California. The criminals were donning bulletproof vests and automatic weapons. Their intent was clear. They were going to rob this bank and kill whoever got in their way. Many may remember the images on TV. The police, being ill-equipped to deal with such firepower, turned to local gun stores for weapons to compete. They finally wounded or killed all the bad guys and the whole mess was over. Do you think talking to the robbers would have helped? Should the cops have just given them the stolen money and walked away so no one got hurt? It was a simple equation. Us or them. The good guys won because they were doing the right thing. Stealing is wrong. Killing is wrong. And to stop it they had to be willing to eliminate the bad guys.

Let's get this through our thick heads. Israel and America are the good guys. We are the ones who fight the bad guys. Israel knows what is at stake and cares not what the world thinks. Political correctness plays little part in decision making when surrounded by millions of enemies. Israel has to keep its eye on the fact that doing the right thing is always the right thing to do. Defeating people who would kill their own children is the right thing to do. Us or them.

So while all the critics sit back in their air-conditioned offices bellyaching about paying $3.00 a gallon for gas, there are men and women who are really sacrificing. They are sweating and dying for our future. A simple thank you would suffice given they are fighting an enemy that hates us more then they love their own flesh and blood. So take your political correctness and shove it and allow our troops and the Israeli troops to rid the world of this cancer. Or hold onto your PC ''ideals'' and more people will die. One way or another the terrorists will die, it's just a question of how many truly innocent will be sacrificed on the altar to satisfy the blood thirst of political porrectness.

In the words of Prime Minister Golda Meier, ''I can forgive them for killing my children. I cannot forgive them for forcing my children to kill theirs.''
