The emperor has no clothes – and neither does President Bush, at least according to a website that may lend some truth to the notion that people in politics are merely empty suits.

CartoonDollEmporium, a dress-up games site intended for girls between 8 and 16, has created a special section for political characters posing in their underwear, giving the public a chance to dress them up (or down) as everyone sees fit.
"I would say the majority of the kids are saying the dolls are just awful," said Evan Bailyn, CEO of the Manhattan, N.Y.-based page, who says he's trying to add some levity to the 2008 presidential contest. "The people who are gonna find this funny are not the users of our website."

More figures are expected to be added as Election Day draws closer.
Viewers choose the person they wish to dress. They're taken to a page which features a cartoon version of the character wearing nothing but underwear. Users merely click on wardrobe items and drag shirts, pants, shoes, and other attire onto the figure.
While most of the cartoon characters seem to be a good likeness of their real-life counterpart, Bailyn admits Mrs. Clinton does not seem to closely resemble the New York Democrat.

"She needs to be revised," he said.
Users can also rate the dolls on the site, which is only 16 months old. As of press time, Obama was ranked 410 out of 650 total dolls.

"It's not a very good ranking for him," Bailyn said. "Our core audience finds him appalling. They're used to fairies and mermaids."

Giuliani's options include not only an evening gown and wig in honor of his previous cross-dressing, but also high-profile characters in his life, including his son, his current wife and his ex-wife.
Bailyn says overall, reaction has been positive, except for one person upset about the portrayal of analyst Bill O'Reilly.
"They thought we were making fun of conservatives with Bill in his nighttime-sky undies," he said. "But we are not taking any side at all."
