This week, the defeat-retreat-surrender Democrats came up with a brand new way to surrender to Islamic militant groups. Kudos to the strategists in the Democratic Party!

The Democrats proposal: Surrender in increments. Brilliant! (I'm sure there were lots of caffeinated late-night sessions by junior staffers to come up with this idea.)
TRENDING: Poll: Stunning number say Biden suffers 'cognitive ailment'
Congressional Democrats said yesterday that they'll allow President Bush to fight the war against terrorism until July of this year, but after that they want U.S. troops to start handing over greater pieces of Iraq to al-Qaida and other Islamic terrorist groups.

This is actually an improvement over the Democrats' pre-election strategy, which, you'll recall, centered on redeploying U.S. troops to Okinawa.
So now it's time for the anti-war Democrats to get a new Extreme Makeover, Appeasement Edition.
After months of focus groups, polling and work with image consultants, the anti-war crackpots are unveiling their brand new "pro-troop" style, complete with the claim that it is anti-war liberals who speak for the "the troops."

They've launched a front-group, VoteVets.org, which is really nothing more than the public face for MoveOn.org, the left-wing Center for American Progress and more of George Soros' money.
VoteVets last year targeted vulnerable Republicans like Sen. George Allen in their quest to hand control of Congress over to the Democrats.

One of the front men for VoteVets is Gen. Paul D. Eaton, a savage partisan attack dog who was tapped by the anti-war movement to help lead the campaign that eventually forced out Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
VoteVets has just announced that Eaton will be featured in a new push to pressure members of Congress to sell out to the Islamic terrorists and cut the funding for our troops and their missions in Iraq.

An appearance on the liberal "Real Time with Bill Maher" show reveals Eaton's white-hot, deranged hatred for the Republican Party and his great willingness to serve as a partisan hack for the Democrat Party.
Watch his appearance – and pay note to these two particular clips:

And with the arrival of a Democratic controlled Congress, thank God, on 7 November, we've got a chance to unsort and to figure out how to get out from under this. … (3 minutes, 17 seconds into the clip)

So many military believe that Republican administrations are good for the military. That is rarely the case, and we, uh, have got to get a message through to every soldier, every family member, every friend of soldier, that the Republican Party, the Republican-dominated Congress, has absolutely been the worst thing that has happened to the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps. (4 minutes, 22 seconds into the clip)
The co-founder of VoteVets, Jon Soltz, identified the group as a "pro-military" organization, saying, "We don't support anybody who doesn't support the military."

And who does Jon Soltz point to as a stellar pro-military leader? It was Nancy Pelosi.
Soltz goes on to say, "We want to win this war, that's why we're here."

So. My question is: Which war is it that Soltz says they want to win?
VoteVets.org obviously favors losing in Iraq.
Well, guess what, it turns out they favor losing to Iran as well.
It turns out that VoteVets, led by Soltz, co-founded the StopIranWar.com website with former Democrat presidential candidate Wesley Clark. Watch the video incriminating Soltz.
Plainly speaking, this network of liberal Democrat activists are trying to gain more power for the Democrat Party, and they are willing to undercut America, our troops and their missions, just so they can score political points against the Republican Party.

Conservative activists have a reputation for "eating our own." But I prefer to think of it in terms of truth telling – if a conservative or Republican figure does something that goes against our beliefs or this nation, we call them out.
There was no place in the Republican Party for Mark Foley when it was revealed that he was improperly communicating with congressional pages. Conservatives routinely criticize President Bush for his atrocious position on illegal immigration. And George Bush Sr. was maligned by conservatives for breaking his "Read my lips, no new taxes" pledge.
I know it's asking too much, but why can't Democrats do the same with their leaders today? Why can't there be more decent people like Sen. Joe Lieberman who will put their nation ahead of partisan games that would undercut our troops' missions at a time of war?
Well, it's time for us to stop wishing Democratic leaders would act more responsibly, and time for us to fight back and hold them accountable.
I'm putting the call out today via this column for every patriotic American to grab the kids, get granny, Uncle Joe, Aunt Jane, cousin Bob and load up the SUV. It's time to hit the streets.
I invite you to join me and countless other Americans in a giant protest rally called "Surrender is Not an Option" outside the offices of Sen. Harry Reid in Las Vegas, Nev., and Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco, Calif., on Thursday May 17.
We're going to put the heat back on these shameless politicians who are undercutting our troops and hurting our nation at a time of war.
For complete details on the protests against Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, log on to the Move America Forward website: www.MoveAmericaForward.org.
And don't forget to bring along your white surrender flags to the rallies!
