What it will take to get America back?

Some might say insurrection – but, no.
Then again…

The United States is undergoing profound changes presented as the proverbial Trojan horse.
If we don't know what's happening or see the damage to our country and culture, the U.S. will be destroyed.

To avoid that, these ideas and events must be viewed with a cool eye and stopped.
"What" and "how" must be answered by American patriots to ensure our survival as the historically established United States of America.
We're seeing the world through a distorted glass. Nothing is as it seems. It's surreal; nothing makes sense. It's Orwellian in scope.
The average hardworking, tax-paying American citizen is left in the dust as this freight train of change plunges ahead. Their government is out of their control.
They vote and pay taxes, but beyond that, their views, opinions and preferences are scorned and ignored by legislators. Elected representatives, influenced by money and special interests, follow their own agendas – ignoring or tolerating voters.

Think no further than politicians, including the president, insulting citizens by calling them vigilante, racist and immigrant haters.
Why? Because they want borders enforced, immigration laws obeyed and illegal aliens not to be given amnesty.
These politicians then turn around and ask these same citizens for campaign contributions and their vote – which would return them to office and the same trail of destruction.
Local, state and national governments make stupid, contradictory decisions and laws. Rules don't matter.

Partisan judges interpret and twist the Constitution to their political agendas, contorting the rule of law beyond recognition.
Everything is redefined: free speech, religious freedom, gun rights, property rights, privacy rights, due process, speedy trial, the duties and scope of the federal government, state rights and more.
How did "freedom of religion" become the creatively interpreted "right" of one person to force everyone else to eliminate all public mention, view or act concerning any religious tradition, particularly Christianity and Judaism.

No holidays, no public reminders. All gone. Someone might be offended.
Then, there's Islam. In fact, Islam gets preferential treatment and a pass on using government money for religious needs e.g. Muslim footbaths, class time and school space for prayers, modifying school lunches and demands for veiled drivers license pictures. And on and on.
All this, at a time when militant Islamic jihadists clearly declare their goal to destroy the United States, Israel and western Europe and create a worldwide Islamic Caliphate.
Their terms: convert, submit or die.

Why don't we believe them? Why don't decades of worldwide jihadist attacks – continuing today – convince us?
If 9/11 doesn't do it, what will?
Yet elected officials, church leaders, the media, the intellectual elite, big business, education, activists and even some military diminish or ignore the threat.
They clamor to get out of Iraq, to de-fund the war, to give terrorists citizen rights and to tie the hands of intelligence agencies to do their jobs.

They have no solutions; only "cut and run" and criticism.
The treatment of Gen. David Petraeus, as he faced congressional questioning, was insulting. Pompous politicians took pleasure in berating the general, accusing him of lying before he even said a word!
Those same politicians, acting on incorrect information about a Rush Limbaugh statement on his talk-radio program, went ballistic. None of them attempted to find out if their accusations were accurate. They weren't.
I heard the original broadcast and Rush did nothing to demean our troops. He spoke with a caller about men who lie that they served in the military.

The politicians don't care. They hate Rush and his conservativism and would like nothing better than to shut him down. They used their position and power to attempt to censor speech, to get the man fired and to issue congressional resolutions against him.
So much for free speech.
States and cities thumb their noses at laws. Gay marriage? Sure. Never mind how people voted and certainly, never mind culture, tradition and morality.
Immigration? Never mind legality. Come on in and once here, get all the benefits and no one is allowed to ask immigration status – even the police. Then, mayors stick a finger in the eye of the Constitution by declaring their cities as "sanctuaries."

Other laws are ignored. Illegals get jobs, drivers licenses, language assistance, welfare, housing food, education, medical, bank ID cards, mortgages. If you disagree, you're castigated.
Where is our pride?
The president and top officials of Mexico demand we change our laws to accommodate their fleeing citizens.
We say nothing.

The president of Iran speaks at Columbia University, lying and insulting the U.S.
There's no response.
Other tyrants speak at the U.N. insulting us, and not one elected official responds or defends our honor.
Apparently, those silent people believe we have no honor and deserve the insults.

In my view, they're traitors to the country and to those who have (and are) dying in the defense of our freedoms.
Since no one has the guts to charge them with treason, the very least we can do is vote them out of office – now. And choose carefully who will replace them.
