A Seattle area woman has been arrested for biting off the lower lip of a man she was kissing.

The incident took place Monday night, as the unidentified woman was reportedly kissing her ex-boyfriend with whom she was residing.

According to the King County Sheriff's Office, the 49-year-old victim told police the two kissed several times in a bedroom when, without provocation, she chomped off his lip and spit it out. Deputies found the man sitting on the porch, bleeding.
When asked what was going on, the man told police, "The ----- bit my lip off!"

"She was drunk," Sgt. John Urquhart told WND. "I don't know what her motivation was, she didn't say why she did it, and the victim doesn't know what her motivation was, that's for darn sure."
"There was quite a bit of blood. He could talk, but just barely," Urquhart told the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
The woman reportedly cursed at deputies and struck one of them with a pillow when authorities went inside the house.

Police found the man's bottom lip on the floor, coated with cat hair.
The victim was taken to Highline Hospital, where doctors were unable to reattach the lip, leaving the man permanently disfigured.

The woman was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of domestic violence, and her bail was set at $25,000. In the state of Washington, names of suspects are not released until they've been formally charged.
