C'mon already – enough of Hillary's blubbering and tears. The act didn't go over that well the first couple times she tried it; she's gotta know people aren't buying it this time. Standing in the Lewiston, Maine, Armory, listening to a disabled veteran telling his story and wiping giant globules of tears from her eyes is not a winning formula. The cynics are more inclined to believe those globs are perspiration from the heat Barack Obama is putting on the rear posterior of her sansabelt pantsuit – which brings me to my point.
It's time for Hillary to hoist up the trousers of her sansabelt suit, stiffen the old upper lip and make the iron maidens and harridans of the world proud. Hillary possesses all the charm of Grendel's little sister, would he have had one – a trait that would not go unnoticed in dealing with radical Islamic factions, should she employ her true nature.
The bottom line is that both Hillary and Obama are bad – the difference is that Hillary is much more likely to be mired in scandal. Her sudden reliance upon tears and a feigned tenderness is out of character for her. She is the woman who has endured the public shame of her husband's epic history of groping and infidelity. She is the woman who endured the Travelgate scandal and a failed health care plan. While her husband might be remembered as America's first black philanderer-in-chief – she is known for her financial genius (evidence her cattle futures controversy) and for having a vocabulary that would make a brothel owner blush. Her understanding of how to handle sensitive security issues is evidenced by her acumen in how she is reported to have handled the Rose Law Firm documents.

Her socialist proclivities are legion. Her deftness at cover-ups and obfuscation is unparalleled – but add to those abilities the fact she and her then-president husband spent their administration enmeshed in scandals that effectively rendered them ineffective. To the extent that said administration had any credibility at all, it is owing to Clinton's co-opting of Republican policies.

Obama, however, poses the very real threat of enjoying a never-ending honeymoon. If he were to win the White House, it would be disastrous, chiefly because he is a black ultra-liberal. Any criticism of him would be deflected as attacks by racists against a black man who braved all to become president. What reporter will have the nerve to openly criticize him or challenge him on policy, the economy, draconian health care initiatives, Cabinet appointments, foreign/social policies and so on? Which Republican congressman would dare publicly condemn his policies?
With Hillary, on the other hand, it would be pretty much business as usual, or perhaps better put, it would business as before – albeit there is probably less likelihood of her being distracted by visions of an intern that might await her in the interstices, i.e., spaces between the Oval Office and a private study.

These are the qualities that are needed in the next Democrat president for the Republican leadership to come to its senses and cease the disaffection of its conservative base.
Before you say I have lost my mind – for those who quake in fear and dread at the thought of either Obama or Hillary as the next president – ask yourselves which of the three viable presidential candidates would you rather have? The one who is almost certain to immediately become involved in scandals that will render her ineffective? The one almost as certain to get a pass on whatever he wants, based exclusively on the color of his skin and the politics of race and political correctness? Or the one who is an ego-maniacal, angry, Republican in name only whose rebelliousness and poor academic ability earned the rank of fifth from the bottom in a graduating class of 900 from the Naval Academy?
