Net's top news now available on RSS

Newshounds now can get the latest national and world news from WorldNetDaily.com on any RSS reader, be it through Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo mail, or whatever other system they choose to use.

The website’s newly posted top stories are fed into the Real Simple Syndication format, so readers can add to the headlines any other news they may want to use to supplement highlights from WND. Headlines from the Internet’s premiere news site also can be loaded directly to another website using RSS.

Norman Book, WND’s executive vice president of operations, who handles technology among other responsibilities, describes it as a one-click resource for news, including WND.

WND has created a page of instructions for readers to add either WND breaking news items, or WND front page news items, to their resources.

Book says any page that is displayed eventually could generate an RSS feed, and those will be developed as the need arises. The headlines from the stories appear, and readers simply click and read any story they want to read.

To start using RSS, you need a special news reader or aggregator that displays RSS content feeds from websites you select. There are many different news readers available, many of which are free of charge. Most are available as software that you download and install on your computer.
