Secretary of state has 'blood of children on fangs'

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who has worked diligently to help establish a Palestinian state, now is being condemned as a murderer by a Palestinian official.

"Every proud Palestinian views you as a murderer, and sees the blood of the children of Palestine between your lips and on your fangs. I pray to Allah that you will soon slither away," said Hamas Minister of Culture Atallah Abu Al-Subh in a statement aired by Al-Aqsa Television.

The broadcast was recorded and interpreted by the Middle East Media Research Institute, which monitors and reports on media broadcasts and publications in the Middle East.

The group previously reported a Palestinian children's television program declared Tel Aviv doesn't exist, another featured President Bush being "killed" and yet another had a children's Mickey Mouse-lookalike "martyred" for the Palestinian cause.

The MEMRI report said Al-Subh's condemnation aired June 15, launching with a description of the U.S. secretary of state as "satan."

"May Allah give us the strength to confront all the satans, and first and foremost, Condoleezza Rice, who has come to the region for the sixth time since the conspiracy of Annapolis – the lie most dangerous to the Palestinian people in recent months," Al-Subh said.

WND reported on last year's summit in Annapolis, Md., at which the U.S. launched a diplomatic effort aimed at establishing two separate states in the Holy Land.

Al-Subh continued: "With the arrival of that black scorpion with a cobra's head, Condoleezza, I began to worry that she would use her venomous fangs and hiss to kill this initiative and new spirit that we should protect.

"The arrival of Condoleezza Rice is not a good sign. An even worse sign is the meeting between the Palestinian leadership and the Zionist entity, in the presence of that scorpion-cobra. Condoleezza Rice, you are not welcome," he said.

"Every proud Palestinian views you as a murderer, and sees the blood of the children of Palestine between your lips and on your fangs. I pray to Allah that you will soon slither away, along with your master who is more Zionist than the Zionists, that murderer and criminal, whose place in history is more advanced than that of Nero, Hulagu, Genghis Khan, Timor the Lame, Hitler, and Mussolini, and before them that of Nimrod – that criminal murderer, little Bush, who is striving to fan the flames in this region," he said.

Other comments from Al-Subh include:

• "Bush believes in the same idea as the Jews: The land from the Euphrates to the Nile is yours, oh Israel."
• "We must be very wary of the rotten American policies in the region, which are represented by the scorpion-cobra Condoleezza."
• "Rest assured that we will foil the Zionist-American enterprise, which is represented and implemented by the neocons, led by little Bush and the scorpion-cobra, Condoleezza Rice. May Allah curse her and her visit. She is not welcome."

A year ago, WND reported an online forum tied to the website of Hamas posted a photo of a little girl in a combat vest and the head band of the terrorist Al-Qassam Brigades.

The message accompanying the photo said the girl "is part of the Muslim generation which will go down in history [as a generation] … that refused to [accept] humiliation and defeat."

MEMRI is an independent nonprofit that provides translations of media reports from the Middle East and analysis of those reports.

The organization previously has featured messages to children about Nahoul, the bee, weeping over his "martyred" family as well as the "martyrdom" of Farfour, the Mickey Mouse-lookalike.

Hamas, which won a majority in parliament in January 2006 elections, officially is considered a terrorist organization by the U.S. government. As WND reported, a prominent Hamas leader recently was captured on video boasting of using children, women and the elderly as human shields in its firefights with Israeli soldiers.
