"I want to quote to you from the book 'The Marketing of Evil' by David Kupelian and I want you to get this book. I want you to read it. I want you to share it with others."
That's how one of America's best-known and most-beloved Bible teachers, Kay Arthur, introduces the second half of her nationally broadcast television show "Precepts for Life," in a special edition titled "Judging the Bloody City."

Arthur is an award-winning author of more than 100 books and Bible studies, whose radio and television program reaches a worldwide audience of over 94 million. She co-founded, with her husband Jack, Precept Ministries International in the 1970s, and today their ministry reaches almost 150 countries with Bible studies translated into nearly 70 languages.
Arthur's urgent concern over America's current direction prompted her to produce the special two-week "America at the Crossroads" series. "Judging the Bloody City" is episode eight of the 10-part production.

Arthur introduces viewers to "The Marketing of Evil" approximately
nine minutes into the broadcast, quoting from and commenting on it for
the rest of the program. (Watch Kay Arthur's "Judging the Bloody City" featuring "The Marketing of Evil" here.)
"Our country has changed," says Arthur's ministry website regarding the "Crossroads" series. "Now, are we headed for revival or judgment? You could be part of God’s sovereign plan for the United States of America. Join Kay Arthur and thousands of believers across our nation who are taking up the spiritual battle by getting active. Active in repentance. Active in getting back to the Truth of God’s Word. Active in reaching out to a country that needs truth, love and redemption more than ever."

In "Judging the Bloody City" (a reference to the biblical book of Ezekiel), Arthur quotes extensively from "The Marketing of Evil" – specifically the powerful abortion chapter, titled "Blood Confessions," showing how a top founder of the abortion movement in America later confessed that he and his pro-abortion colleagues, using a public relations firm, shamelessly lied to the media, falsified statistics and fabricated poll results so as to sell the media, and thus the public, on legalized abortion.
Arthur urges listeners to read the book and to share it with their friends and family, saying it has opened her eyes to what is really happening in America:
"It's been out for two years," she says during the televised segment, "and I called David and I said, 'I don't know where I've been, but I am so thankful that this couple recommended this book for me," she said, "because now I have a greater understanding than I had before of the gravity of the times in which we're living and what is happening in America and how we are just taking our nation down.'
"I understand in a greater dimension why America is at the crossroads and why I believe these are critical times," she added. "And I believe how we respond in these days is going to determine our survival or our demise as a nation."

In July, at the huge "Deeper Still" Christian women's conference in Atlanta, Arthur urged the almost 20,000 attendees to read Kupelian's book. Her listeners must have been paying attention, because the next day "The Marketing of Evil" spiked to No. 2 on Amazon.com's Current Events list and No. 32 on its Nonfiction Bestseller list. Earlier this month, at the Las Vegas "Deeper Still" event with 5,500 in attendance, Arthur again held up Kupelian's book and told the audience "every adult, every teen ought to read [this]."
"The Marketing of Evil," currently in its ninth printing, has caught fire with an increasing number of pastors and ministries nationwide, including Coral Ridge Ministries, founded by the late D. James Kennedy.
Calling it a "powerful new book that I wish every Christian in America could read," Kennedy took the dramatic step of printing 15,000 paperback copies of "The Marketing of Evil" – with "Special Coral Ridge Ministries Edition" on the front cover – and sent a copy to thousands of financial supporters in late 2006. He also featured Kupelian and the book for four consecutive weeks on "The Coral Ridge Hour," his weekly one-hour television show which airs on more than 600 stations, four cable networks, in 145 nations overseas and on 125 ships at sea on the Armed Forces Network.
Other Christian and Jewish leaders have extolled the book's crystal clear explanation of the hidden tactics being used to negatively transform America, including:

Hal Lindsey, author of 20 books including the mega-bestseller "The Late, Great Planet Earth": "David Kupelian's book is like a giant x-ray machine that exposes the atheistic, secular left's brilliant marketing campaigns aimed at seducing America away from its founding Judeo-Christian faith. If you want to know how such a thoroughly decent country as America could go so wrong so fast, you simply have to read 'The Marketing of Evil.'"
Rabbi Daniel Lapin, president of Toward Tradition: "Over just a few years, life in America has become indescribably more squalid, expensive, and dangerous. Like the dazzling disclosures in the final page of a gripping whodunit or the fascinating revelation of a magician's secrets, 'The Marketing of Evil' irresistibly exposes how it was done. It will elicit an involuntary 'Aha!' from you as you discover who did it, and your soul will soar with optimism as you discover the only way we can undo it. In year to come Americans will acknowledge a debt of gratitude to David Kupelian for his honesty, courage, and laser-like insight in this must-read book."
Dr. Ted Baehr, chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission: "David Kupelian's new book 'The Marketing of Evil' is brilliant! He combines superb common sense (that is so rare in our society) with the important biblical command to expose 'the fruitless deeds of darkness' (Ephesians 5:11). By doing so, he breaks the spell of the carefully marketing lies that are destroying our civilization, and sets the stage for revival and reformation."
