Planned Parenthood counsels ‘teen’ to hide felony

By WND Staff

A new video of an activist going undercover into a Planned Parenthood abortion facility reveals a “nurse” ignoring an apparent felony of statutory rape and coaching the “patient” to protect the assailant.

The video has been released by LiveActionFilms.org, which has worked previously with Lila Rose, a 20-year-old UCLA student who posed as a pregnant 13-year-old in an undercover investigation.

Rose’s earlier investigation of several other Planned Parenthood facilities, including in Los Angeles, revealed similar results. She also previously released a series of reports when Planned Parenthood officials agreed to accept a donation that would fund the killing of an unborn black baby.

The video shows the “patient,” accompanied by a friend, going into a Planned Parenthood facility in Bloomington, Ind., to ask about abortion. She meets with a nurse, identified only as “Diana,” whose face is blurred to conceal her identity.

Indiana Planned Parenthood Covers Up Sexual Abuse of 13-year Old

The nurse, who is told the girl is 13 and her “boyfriend” is about 31, explains that in Indiana, if a girl is 13, the law requires a report to state authorities.

“You’re 13. It has to be reported to Child Protective Services. OK. I didn’t hear the age. I don’t want to know the age,” she said.

Then she counsels the 13-year-old how to answer if the question of her boyfriend, and his age, arises.

“You know. You’ve seen him around. You know he’s 14. He’s in your grade and whatever. OK. So that’s that problem solved,” she said.

Then she suggests how to get an abortion without a parental signature by going across state lines to Illinois.

“Now I’m going to give you a piece of paper, because I cannot tell you this. OK. But I can show you this,” she said.

She shows the patient a piece of paper with the information about an Illinois clinic circled. The patient responds, “So in Illinois.”

Then the nurse circles all of the other clinic listings on the page to conceal her efforts to direct the child to the Illinois clinic.

The employee later was disciplined, according to a LifeNews.com. The report said Planned Parenthood marketing director Kate Shepherd stated she was “deeply concerned” about the video.

“While we cannot be certain whether this video has been altered, the apparent actions of the employee would be in violation of our strict policies and procedures. Therefore, a thorough internal investigation of this matter has begun, and the employee has been put on an immediate, unpaid suspension,” her statement said.

However, Rose told WND that trying to blame an individual employee won’t work, and that’s why the nurse’s identity was concealed on the video. She said the problem is widespread, based on her previous investigations and other probes not yet publicized, conducted under what her organization calls “The Mona Lisa Project.”

“All across the country they have a consistent pattern,” she said.

Rose said the video demonstrates “the routine lawlessness of abortion providers at Planned Parenthood.”

She cited the status of Planned Parenthood as a tax-exempt non-profit that made more than $100 million in profit in 2007 and has a budget of $1 billion, nearly one-third of which comes from taxpayers.

Accompanying Rose on the undercover mission was Jackie Stoller, the student president of Oregon’s Live Action chapter.

“During an economic crisis, can the government
really spare $300 million to support such an unethical organization?” she asked.

“The Mona Lisa Project demonstrates how quickly the abortion industry’s
disrespect for unborn children becomes disregard for all humans,” Rose said. “Planned Parenthood offers no solutions for the victim of
statutory rape—they give her an abortion and a bag of condoms and send her
straight back into the arms of the abuser.”

In an online forum for the Bloomington newspaper, one reader argued the problem was with only one worker.

But another reader responded, citing Live Action’s earlier videos documenting Planned Parenthood behavior and pointing out YouTube several months ago censored a series of the organization’s revealing videos.

“Live Action has had many other videos around the Internet for awhile! And guess what? They were BANNED from YouTube, but I am sure you can find them in other places,” the participant said.

LifeNews.com reported just a few days earlier that a different video had been released. The previous video came out of Charlotte, N.C., where a college student told officials she was 15 and had sex with her 30-year-old mother’s live-in boyfriend.

The pro-life group Students for Life of America investigated through the state’s open records laws and found the local Planned Parenthood did not report the apparent crime.

“That Planned Parenthood staffers acknowledged the girl was being raped and then did not report the crime is horrific,” the student group’s Kristan Hawkins said to LifeNews.com. “They were willing to allow this girl to go home to her rapist and even confirmed that the predator could get the morning after pill for her to cover up his crime.”

That video is available at this link.

The Texas-based pro-life group Life Dynamics previously conducted an extensive undercover project in which an adult volunteer posing as a 13-year-old called every Planned Parenthood clinic in the U.S., saying she was pregnant by a 22-year-old boyfriend. Almost without exception, the clinics advised her to obtain an abortion without her parents’ knowledge and told her how to protect her boyfriend, who would be guilty in any state of statutory rape.
