News outlets around the world are picking up a British tabloid story claming a Muslim terrorist vowed to behead the pop singer Madonna in revenge for Israel’s current counteroffensive in Gaza, but the threat actually was reported in a book published one year ago by WND’s Aaron Klein.
The People newspaper reported today Madonna has “urgently beefed up her family’s security” in response to threats from Muslim terrorists, including one by Muhammad Abdel-Al, leader of the Popular Resistance Committees “to BEHEAD the superstar who is a dedicated member of the Jewish Kabbalah sect.”
But the threat was made long before the Gaza campaign in a 2007 book by Jerusalem bureau chief Aaron Klein, “Schmoozing with Terrorists: From Hollywood to the Holy Land, Jihadists Reveal their Global Plans – to a Jew!.”
Klein quoted Abdel-Al in a section in which Mideast terror leaders describe day-to-day life in the U.S. if al-Qaida wins the war on terror.
The jihadist chief told Klein that even before Islam takes over America, he would personally kill Madonna and pop singer Britney Spears if he ran into them.
“If I meet these whores I will have the honor – I repeat, I will have the honor – to be the first one to cut the heads of Madonna and Britney Spears,” Abdel-Al said in Klein’s book.
The British paper said Madonna “is also desperately worried for the safety of her children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and adopted David Banda, 3.”
But Klein said today he reached Abdel-Al by telephone, and the jihadist leader denied he has made any new threats against Madonna related to Israel’s action in Gaza.
“I’m too busy fighting the Zionists (in Gaza),” he told Klein. “I don’t have time to think about your Madonna.”
The People said Madonna hired “two ruthless Israeli former secret service agents to beef up her security” and warned ex-husband Guy Ritchie his home in busy central London is vulnerable to attack when he has the children.
The paper quoted a source close to the singer saying: “Madonna is well known for her Kabbalah faith and support for Israel, having visited the country several times.
“This seems to upset extreme Muslims who forget she respects people of all faiths whether Islamic, Christian or Buddhist,” the source said. “Like anyone else she would like a peaceful end to the problems in Gaza.
“But she is beside herself with worry, not just for her own safety but for that of the children.”
In his book, Klein quotes Abdel-Al declaring that once Islam dominates America, “anyone living inside the Islamic state must abide by our rules. There is no choice. You will abide or face the punishment.”
The terror leader said “music video clips will be forbidden and these whores Madonna and Spears will be thrown in jail until they admit they made sins and return to the moral way. If they don’t, they will be stoned to death or 80 times hit with a belt.”
In Klein’s ““Schmoozing,” jihadist leaders stress repeatedly their goal is a worldwide Islamic caliphate.
“America will be overthrown,” Abdel-Al said. “We are seeing more and more signs that prove that the process had already started.”
