The Talk Radio Network has announced another option for radio stations wanting to fill the time slot being abandoned by Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.

Talk Radio Network-FM said today Erich “Mancow” Muller’s “The Mancow Show” will be offered in a special daily re-feed from noon-2 p.m. Eastern Time.

“This is yet another option designed to serve former O’Reilly affiliates,” the announcement said.

TRN previously announced it would test a pre-feed of “The Michael Savage Show” also as a substitute for O’Reilly.

The Mancow show also announced the addition of another four affiliates, WAMT in Orlando, Fla.; WTDA in Columbus, Ohio; WDJA in West Palm Beach, Fla.; and WJFN in Jackson, Miss.

“These latest affiliates are on top of the recent announcement of nine new stations, and his return to the Chicago airwaves on WLS,” the announcement said.

“No other host in America has grown more than Mancow in the last few years,” said Phil Boyce, president of TRN programming. “If you have not heard his
show in a while you owe it to yourself to listen to what he is doing today.
This show is smart, funny, current, topical, relevant, and energetic.”

WAMT’s general manager, Paul
Proly said, “We are extremely happy to have Mancow in Orlando, the response has been
great and his show is just absolutely amazing, we could not have asked for a
better morning show for our station.”

Mark Masters, CEO of TRN-FM, said, “As was the case of Jerry Seinfield, who certain NBC executives stuck with for 18 long months until he broke out (going on to become the biggest TV show on NBC), Mancow has evolved to such a point that I believe he will be the ‘Seinfeld’ equivalent on radio.”

TRN Cos. says it also are making available a re-feed of “The Laura Ingraham Show” and “The Tammy Bruce Show,” offered live to substitute for the soon-disappearing O’Reilly radio program.

“People have looked at my ratings dominance in the key male demos and have tried to compare my show to others, but there is simply nothing like Mancow on the airwaves,” Muller said. “I treat my listeners like they have brains above the waist and they respond.”

“Mancow offers the full spectrum of entertainment – movies, music and politics – which equals a massive listenership,” added Masters. “Mancow gets this business. He understands what it takes for his stations to make money.”

Mancow’s also a regular contributor on the Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends,” which
is a highly anticipated segment of the morning program. Mancow also
contributes regular commentaries to “Chicago Tonight.”

His nationally syndicated show airs live Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m.
to 10:00 a.m. Central Time on TRN-FM.
