“Obsession,” a documentary that reveals the training of suicide bombers, the indoctrination of children into hate and violence and the public celebrations over the 9/11 terror attacks, has moved into the No. 1 spot among best-sellers
at Shop.WND.com this week.
The award-winning film – which was banned in Detroit – provides a look, using actual footage from Arabic television rarely seen in the West, into the minds of radical Islamists. Viewers can hear and see what the radicals think.
So significant is this work that it has been used by security offices and military personnel for education.
The Detroit Free Press last year turned down a paid insertion of the video, editorializing that “it would have been potentially divisive and counterproductive to the good work the local Arab and Muslim organizations and individuals are doing to contribute to the rebirth of Detroit and Southeast Michigan.”
But the car city wasn’t the only place to try to quash the message in “Obsession.” Pace University officials also tried to prevent a screening, and similar repression erupted at State University of New York-Stonybrook, Georgia Tech and in the Canadian city of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
But the film’s importance is hard to overstate, say supporters.
“‘Obsession’ should serve as a wake-up call to the free world to confront the threat now, before it is too late,” said Joel Surnow, executive producer of “24.”
“‘Obsession’ is without exaggeration one of the most important films of our time. … Please, you must see it,” said Glenn Beck of Fox News.
The presentation features Sir Martin Gilbert, Alan Dershowitz, Daniel Pipes, Steve Emerson, a former federal prosecutor, a former Hitler Youth Commander and anti-Islamist Muslims, including the daughter of a terrorist, a former Palestinian terrorist, a Palestinian journalist and the director of the Palestinian Media Watch.
It demonstrates the parallels between British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain’s doomed strategy of appeasing Hitler and the West’s current attitude of appeasing Iran and radical Islamists. It also traces blatant similarities between the Nazi movement of World War II and the “Islamo-fascists” of today.

In second place is “The Feasts of the Lord,” a DVD that documents the work of Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries, who believes he knows the exact calendar day, if not the specific year, of the Lord’s return.
He reports the spring feasts – or appointed times – were fulfilled by the first coming of Yeshua, the Hebrew name of Jesus, which means “Salvation.”
Further, he said the fall feasts will be fulfilled by His Second Coming – in the very near future.
Biltz emphasizes that the feasts, described in Leviticus, were not intended for the Jewish people alone. They are repeatedly referred to in the Bible as “the Lord’s feasts” – meaning they are for all people. He says they are meant to be observed as well as to serve as signs of the times in which we live – reminders of the greatest events of the past and foreshadowings of the future to come.
Produced by WND Videos, the DVD notes Biltz believes much of the church is asleep – unaware of the significance of the feasts in God’s holy time clock.

In third place is “Time is the Ally of Deceit” by Richard Rives.
Rives writes that many of the aspects of “traditional Christianity” are not found in the Bible.
“They can, however, be traced directly to the worship of pagan gods which predate Christianity by centuries,” he writes, continuing, “How is it that precepts that have nothing to do with Christ and everything to do with pagan sun worship have found their way into our churches?”
For example, he writes that many theologians are convinced Sunday “has replaced the 7th day Sabbath” for Christians, even though “Jesus said that until heaven and earth pass away not even the slightest aspect of the law would change.”
