It is what I've been talking about that was coming for a very long time and that is disenfranchisement which will turn into anger and then turn into God knows what," Glenn Beck said Friday on his radio program about CNBC'S Rick Santelli's passionate comments made Thursday from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Mark the date: February 19, 2009 when Santelli might have unwittingly fired a shot signaling the beginning of The Great Revolution, spawning dozens of citizen Tea Party Protests across the country. Responding to Santelli's passionate comments, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs suggested Santelli drink a cup of decaf coffee. We prefer tea.

The flood of interest in a modern-day "Tea Party" was launched with Santelli's nearly three-minute rant on the floor of the exchange, in response to President Obama's plans for $275 billion in deficit-financed homeowner bailouts
"We're thinking of having a Chicago Tea Party in July," Santelli told CNBC "Squawk Box" co-anchor Joe Kernan. "All you capitalists who want to show up at Lake Michigan, I'm going to start organizing."

On February 23, 1945, 64 years ago, American forces made it to the top of Mount Suribachi for the raising of the American flag. Joe Rosenthal was on hand with his camera to capture the most famous of WWII images. Three of the six flag raisers were killed before the island was finally secured, but their images have lived on for more than six decades and will continue to do so for many more.
