If you are interested in viewing the wasteland that lies at the end of the affirmative action highway, look no further than today’s Washington, D.C.
The president is an empty suit who consults his handlers, via his teleprompter, before answering – or not – even the softball questions lobbed at him by the adoring media who worked so hard to elect him (“JournoList: Inside the echo chamber,” by Michael Calderone, March 17, 2009).
His biggest concern prior to inauguration turns out to have been negotiating a new $500,000 book contract. Given that he didn’t write his book “Dreams From My Father,” I guess that means Bill Ayers will soon become the White House writer-in-residence.
Hillary Clinton, who went from purchased Senate seat to secretary of state political payoff, recently called on the Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, while they were both in Geneva. She presented him with a Staples “That was Easy” red dot button, labeled “Reset,” which she accompanied with a memorized Russian phrase. She spoke slowly and loudly, so the foreigner could understand. “Did we get it right?” she then asked.
“You got it wrong,” Lavrov answered in fluent English. “This says ‘peregruzka,’ which means overcharged.” (“How do you say Hillary’s gaffe in Russian”)
Nancy Pelosi, the shrieker of the House, we’ve discussed before. The woman seems to have no concept that the Constitution LIMITS her power.
Barney Frank, whose main claim to fame was running a homosexual whorehouse out of his capital townhouse, pretty much created the legislation and bureaucratic climate that brought about the recent real estate and financial collapse. Aren’t you thankful he’s now “fixing” it?
The rest of Obama’s Cabinet largely reflects the end result of replacing merit with political correctness, also known as affirmative action pandering. And therein lies the problem for America, and indeed, the rest of the world. You’ve elected incompetent, corrupt morons to hold the world together during some very dark days. Beyond enriching themselves and grandstanding in front of an equally incompetent, corrupt and moronic mainline press – they have not a clue as to how the world really works.
And they don’t care. All they care about is bastardizing the Constitution, deepening their corruption ties and using the 2010 census count to help ACORN promote voter fraud nationwide in the next election. Ten to 20 million illegals added to the “homeless” rolls should give Democrats a permanent voting majority. Their only real goal is to eliminate merit and implement Europe’s bankrupt socialist empire here in the United States. After all, merit is at the opposite end of the political spectrum from socialism and communism.
I guess this is the thanks Americans get for spending between $100,000 and $200,000 to educate each child from kindergarten through high school. They end up knowing all the politically correct answers about condoms and global warming; they just have no idea what the Constitution is, what it cost to have, or why it exists – which means, they won’t long have it.
But here’s where the rubber really meets the road: The problem isn’t the morons you’ve elected. The problem is that you would elect them.
