While President Obama may believe America is arrogant, I think he is totally wrong. America is not arrogant; it is ignorant.
Webster defines ignorant as: A) lacking knowledge or comprehension of the thing specified. B) resulting from or showing lack of knowledge or intelligence.
I personally have a much easier definition of the word. To be ignorant, one must be willing to openly ignore the facts. Ignoring the obvious, in my book, makes anyone ignorant. And that is just what many Americans did in the last election.
Approximately 52 percent of Americans ignored the fact that Barack Obama sat in the church of Rev. Wright for many years listening and digesting the “hate America” bile that poured out of him. They ignored clear ties to radicals like Bill Ayers and his lovely wife, Bernardine Dohrn. Both were members of the radical Left group, Weather Underground – an organization perfectly comfortable with killing police officers.
They ignored Michelle Obama and her stance that America is a mean nation and how only now is she proud of her country.
Ignorant Americans ignored the use of the race card by team Obama. Bill and Hillary can tell you firsthand just how effective it was in getting voters to ignore Obama’s associations with true racists like Louis Farrakhan.
Obamamaniacs ignored his clear avoidance of any contact with the military by Obama during the campaign. Obama spoke to 300,000 Germans in the streets of Berlin but didn’t have time to stop at the Landstuhl Medical Center to visit wounded heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan? Many are now ignoring his recent visit to a mosque in Turkey to appease the religion of peace, but he spent not one second on the sacred, blood-soaked ground of Normandy where 9,387 American soldiers are buried.
Ignorant people today are subscribing to the fantasy that the Obama government can fix every problem, run every business and make our lives better. They are good at running their mouths. I will give them that, but they can’t even take the garbage out efficiently.
But the ignoring of facts does not stop there.
We are not arrogant to acknowledge the impact legalized same-sex marriage will have on the nation as a whole. We are ignorant if we do not.
We are not arrogant to acknowledge expansion of welfare creates a weaker nation. To do any less would make us ignorant of the facts. Welfare has crippled the average recipient.
We are not arrogant in recognizing that 15 to 20 million aliens chose as their first act in the greatest nation on Earth to breaks it’s laws. To ignore that would be stupid.
We are not arrogant; we are ignorant if we ignore potential threats like Iran and North Korea? I think it a bit arrogant and a whole lot ignorant to disarm America at a time like this. Yet Obama wants to do just that.
What category does that put our leader in?
To ignore the facts as they are presented produces ignorant people, and that is exactly what your current government is depending on. Not one of them could keep their jobs if Americans acquired knowledge and comprehension of what is happening before their very eyes. We need to smarten up, real fast. And we need to do it through education, not the hype of liberalism and a feel-good speech – or a poll number that tells us how much Americans love Obama.
Have we not learned our lesson?
Obama went to Europe and came home with nothing other than the praise of Muslims and Europeans – both whom we are told hate us. Obama received no commitment of troops to fight the war on terror, no money to fix the world’s economy. He didn’t even get a consensus to fight world threats like Iran and North Korea. Heck, North Korea launched a missile while he was smiling at the use of his name “Hussein” in the mosque – a name forbidden during the campaign.
So, ignore the facts surrounding this administration and its inability to provide anything other than a good speech. But do so at your own risk.
If America had looked at the facts, Obama would be in the Senate voting “present,” not being the president.
