Wednesday is Tea Party Day across the fruited plain, when thousands of Americans will protest burdensome taxation, profligate spending, and an alarming move toward socialism by the Obama administration and our federal government. You can find a Tea Party near you at Tax Day Tea Party.
American Tea Party Anthem singer Lloyd Marcus sent a message urging Americans to turn out for the nationwide events. He will perform at the Sacramento Tea Party, to be hosted by Fox Business News' Neal Cavuto.
Not coincidentally, it is also the day when we render unto Caesar. But lucky for you, if you have any questions at all, the IRS is there to help, just a click away.

New, from Thomas Paine
Thomas Paine, the "Father of the American Revolution," has a new message directed specifically to those who will participate in the Tea Parties. Portrayed by actor Bob Basso, it debuted Friday on Glenn Beck's Fox News television show.

"The time for talk is over. In an unprecedented moment of citizen response not seen in recent history since December 7, 1941, millions of your fellow Americans, neighbors, friends, relatives will bring their anger and their determination into the streets from Bakersfield to Bangor, Maine, from Indianapolis to Dallas in National Tea Parties protesting much more than taxation without representation. They are rising above their differences. They're marching not as Republicans or Democrats or black or white, or right wing or left wing. They're marching as Americans!"

Dealing with Islam
President Obama might be wise to take a lesson from Presidents Ronald Reagan and Thomas Jefferson in dealing with Muslim terrorists.
In stark contrast to the events we watched unfold this week when Somali pirates took over a U.S. flagged ship and the Obama administration focused instead on housing, 23 years ago on April 15, 1986, another president didn't hesitate to bomb Tripoli, Libya, in retaliation for terrorist attacks.
President Ronald Reagan justified the attacks by accusing Libya of direct responsibility for terrorism aimed at America, such as the bombing of La Belle discotheque in West Berlin. During a televised address to the nation, he said, "When our citizens are attacked or abused anywhere in the world on the direct orders of hostile regimes, we will respond so long as I'm in this office."

He argued that America was exercising its right to self-defense as defined by Article 51 of the UN charter.
Obama makes pizza maker walk 860 miles?
"When you're the president of the United States, only the best pizza will do – even if that means flying a chef 860 miles," reported one news outlet.

Eight hundred sixty miles? Either St. Louis is only 430 miles away from D.C. or – Obama had the pizza man walk back to St. Louis, or – unbelievable as it may seem, Obama actually flew the eco-friendly pizza man more than 1,700 miles to toss a pie. You decide.
The Restaurant Pi pizza man toted a suitcase filled with dough, cheese, and pans. The owner of Obama's fave pizza joint is planning a pizza especially for the president. The "Hyde Park" will be appropriately, topped with chicken, hot sauce and a heaping helping of environmental hypocrisy.
Restaurant Pi owners pride themselves on being eco-friendly, touting its selection of environmentally friendly "all green" wines, and earth-friendly recycle program to prevent landfills from filling with Pi Restaurant pizza trash.
Rumor has it Pi is also developing a pizza for Obama's Teleprompter. and is running a contest to come up with the winning topping.

Citizen grand juries
Carl Swensson of Georgia and Dr. Sam Sewall of Florida are convening citizen grand juries to challenge Obama's eligibility as required by the U.S. Constitution to hold the office of president.
The pair updated my radio listeners last Wednesday on the status of the Common Law Grand Jury indictment by 25 Georgia citizens. Additionally, a Citizen's Federal Grand Jury in Illinois has confirmed membership and set a jury date. An Ohio citizen's grand jury was soon expected to convene, and a nationwide Internet grand jury effort also is under way. Listen to the interview at The Andrea Shea King Show.

National landmark
WorldNetDaily recently reported that Hawaii is moving to make Obama’s childhood home a national landmark. Still no word however, to recognize any island hospital as his birthplace.
Travel to Cuba
While our current president intends to open travel to Cuba, the attitude of another president toward communist Cuba 48 years ago was decidedly different. In April 1961, a U.S.-trained force of Cuban exiles unsuccessfully attempted to invade southern Cuba in the "Bay of Pigs Invasion." This was exacerbated the following year by the Cuban Missile Crisis. Cuban-American bloggers at Babalu blog write of their disgust with the president's and the Black Congressional Caucus' fawning over Fidel.

"Cuban political prisoners Jose Daniel Ferrer Garcia, Ernesto Borges Perez and Juan Carlos Herrera Acosta have emitted, by telephone, from their respective prisons, the following opinions on the visit of the American congressmen to their country. It is a powerful rebuke of the CBC."
Babalu Blog’s motto: "Only oppression should fear the full expression of freedom."
Waco standoff
And this week in history, on April 19, 1993, a standoff between the FBI and the Branch Davidian cult led by David Koresh at the Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, ended in a fiery tragedy, claiming the lives of followers, including many young children.

To this day, doubt remains about the justification for the invasion of the Koresh compound that killed 19 men, 34 women, and 23 children.
Timothy McVeigh blamed the U.S. government for the tragedy. Two years later on the anniversary of the Waco massacre, McVeigh drove a Ryder truck to the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, lit the fuse on a bomb and walked away from a massive explosion that tore through the nine-story building at 9:02 a.m., pulverizing its entire north face.
Jayna Davis, an Oklahoma City TV reporter, says Timothy McVeigh and accomplice Terry Nichols did not act alone. She reveals disturbing documentation of a Middle East connection to the bombing in her best-selling book "The Third Terrorist," which has gone largely ignored by the mainstream media.
'I am not a Communist'

Moldovans used Twitter to assemble 15,000 for an "I am not a Communist" protest.
On April 7, a crowd of young Moldovans materialized seemingly out of nowhere to protest against Moldova's Communist leadership, ransacking government buildings and clashing with the police. Moldova's youth are talking about how they want freedom, Europe and a different life. The sea of young people reflected the deep generation gap that has developed in Moldova, and the protesters used their generation's tools, gathering the crowd by enlisting text-messaging, Facebook and Twitter, the social messaging network.
Young people have increasingly used the Internet to mobilize politically; cellphones and text messages helped swell protests in Ukraine in 2004, and in Belarus in 2006.

If you're in the market for a new computer, I recommend this site. Being a Mac aficionado, I wanted to replace my iBook G4 laptop with something comparable. I shopped for the best price and found it at GainSaver, a website that sells pre-owned computers, including Macs and PCs, cameras, cell phones, printers, and just about every other piece of electronic merchandise you'll find in any box store. I picked out a pre-owned 2 Ghz, 15-inch screen Mac Book Pro laptop loaded with everything I need, including a 3-year warranty, for well under $1,200.
