Government 'problem' solving

OK, if right-wingers are to be denied guns because they might be "potential" terrorists and kill someone, then in the spirit of fairness (and fairness is what Obama and his posse are all about, right?) then ALL Muslims cannot have guns because 9/11 was perpetrated by people who were Muslims. Do you suppose we can get United Nations help with that one and make an anti-gun policy for Muslims a worldwide event? (Peace on Earth?)

And, since women sometimes kill their husbands or boyfriends, all women (including Janet N. and Nancy P.) can no longer associate with men – this measure is to protect men, of course. It's for their own good.

And, because men sometimes kill their wives or girlfriends, then all men (including Obama) are no longer allowed to be within 100 feet of a woman. Just think, domestic violence and unplanned pregnancy solved forever!

Men can only be with men and women can only be with women ... total fairness, right?

And, because children sometimes kill their parents, children are not allowed to be within 100 feet of a parent. Child abuse solved?

And, because some people die in car accidents, no one is to have a car. Ditto for airplanes, trucks, trains, boats and amusement park rides.

Remember folk singer Mamma Case? She died from chocking on a ham sandwich. Must ban ham sandwiches. In fact, ALL sandwiches should be illegal to be on the safe side.

And, since most people die in bed: no more beds!

Now, everyone is safe, right?

But, maybe we'll have to get a stimulus package together for all of the undertakers since their business will be down because of the lack of death. Bed and sheet makers and sandwich makers will also have to be subsidized due to a decline in business income.

Of course, government can create new jobs by having a Sandwich Czar, a Bed Sheet Czar ... you know, when government solves one "problem" they end up creating soooo many other "problems." But that keeps politicians employed. Viva la stupidity!
