"And on the seventh day, God rested."
Not so, the left's earthly messiah. On one day the nation's financial industry is healed. On the next day the auto industry is rebirthed. "Let there be money, and it was so. Let there be fuel-efficient vehicles that produce gasoline instead of consuming it."
Soon, no doubt, the pharmacology, doctoring and toy industries will be retreaded. "Let there be drugs for all, and let them be abundantly cheap. Let them cure cancer and obesity of the brain. ... Let there be toys for all. Let them be free for the asking. And let those who play with them never grow up." And it became so.

The media stories about Obama remaking the auto industry by proclamation could only have been written by an industry filled with people too stupid to know why their industry is dying. "It's the Internet, talk radio, the iPod, yadah, yadah, yadah ..."
No, dear journalist, it's because you are a moronic fool masquerading as a consummate liar. How do you expect to charge for a product that is worthless? It was often said of the communists that their first victims were always the useful idiots who gave them a leg-up to power. The reason is, early communist supporters are the most dangerous in their disillusionment, once they learn that they will not be running things under the new regime. Their carefully crafted ideas are viewed as idiocy by those who covet power.

Intellectuals have always fallen first and hardest for the communist lie. They do so out of pride: The communist religion is the only fantasy that gives academics, intellectuals and the self-proclaimed elite the stature their ideas truly deserve (in their own twisted minds). The marketplace mocks and disdains them, because their ideas are destructive of human freedom, prosperity and the future. Communism is ultimately a one-way ticket down the yellow-brick road to economic ruin. The ash heap at the end is where the remains of the nations that have traveled that path now lie. The road back leads only to tyranny and gang rule: Witness Russia under Putin. Freedom will never be recovered.

It was Aldous Huxley who observed, "At least two-thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity, idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religious or political idols." The left holds a full house of Huxley's motivators and justifiers.
What applies to the intellectuals applies in spades to the press groupies who surround them like a protective army, isolating them from engagement over their ideas. Armed with an indoctrination – rather than an education – press groupies are unable to think for themselves. But they parrot the destructive, mindless stupidity spewed out by the left, which seems to come as easily to its adherents as breathing.
Albert Einstein must surely have been looking ahead to our age when he said, "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Remake the auto industry with an executive edict? How stupid can you be? You've just driven the struggling remains of that industry overseas. China, Eastern Europe and South America thank you for the gift of this industry!
Once the Obama insanity runs its course, will the last person still working in manufacturing in the U.S. of A. please turn out the lights!
