Two prominent talk radio industry components, Talk Radio Network Ventures, Inc., and Take On The Day, LLC, have announced a joint effort for the syndication management and affiliate marketing of “The Dr. Laura Program,” hosted by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, the most listened-to woman in radio broadcasting history.

She is the industry leader in the advice genre, and her show’s unique appeal and reach continues to grow.”
“Mark Masters and his team have succeeded in bringing great radio talent to audiences and bringing new stations on both the AM and FM band into the talk format,” added TOTD President Geoff Rich. “I am confident this syndication and marketing partnership will ensure the Dr. Laura Program will expand its reach and be an even greater value for advertisers and affiliates.”
The program, in its 16th year of syndication, holds more than 8.25 million weekly listeners in dozens of nations across 250 radio stations as well as Armed Forces Radio and Sirius/XM.
It airs lives noon-3 p.m. Pacific.
Talkers Magazine has ranked the program the third most-listened-to show and the No.1 female-hosted program in the nation.
Schlessinger also is author of 11 New York Times best-sellers, including “The Proper Care & Feeding of Husbands,” “Ten Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives” and “In Praise of Stay-At-Home Moms.”
She’s won the prestigious Marconi Award for Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year.

The agreement will have TRNV bring its expertise to the affiliate marketing of The Dr. Laura Program. TRNV will work with TOTD to gain new affiliates.
TRNV Inc. is the newest in the constellation of radio syndication companies run by Masters, who also syndicates “The Michael Savage Show,” “The Laura Ingraham Show,” “The Jerry Doyle Show,” “The Rusty Humphries Show,” The Mancow Morning Show,” “The Phil Hendrie Show” and “The Monica Crowley Show.”
