Yet its return is tragically apt. The Fort Hood slayings – allegedly committed by a Muslim officer in the U.S. Army who openly advocated killing "infidels" for Islam – is the nation's latest nightmare. Globally, Thanksgiving marks the one-year anniversary of the massacre in Mumbai, India, where 172 were slaughtered and 300 more wounded by Islamists.
This award-winning, eye-opening documentary grants access into the minds of radical Islamists. And what viewers will find is frightening. Using actual footage from Arabic TV rarely seen in the West and interviews with former terrorists, "Obsession" documents the call for world domination and global jihad that Islamic leaders demand daily.
There is nothing subtle about this loud and clear call for aggression.

Undercover footage captures suicide-bomber initiations, young children undergoing indoctrination into hatred and violence, secret jihad meetings and public celebrations of 9/11.
While numerous military and security leaders praise the film's educational value for understanding the depth of threat radical Islam presents, some media outlets have tried to censor the public from learning about its potent findings.
In 2008, The Detroit Free Press turned down a paid insertion of the video, saying "it would have been potentially divisive and counterproductive to the good work the local Arab and Muslim organizations and individuals are doing to contribute to the rebirth of Detroit and Southeast Michigan."
Administrators at State University of New York-Stonybrook, Georgia Tech University and in Winnipeg, Manitoba, all have tried to ban screenings. Fortunately, other high-profile personalities aren't too intimidated or intoxicated with political correctness to voice their admiration of the film:

- "'Obsession' should serve as a wake-up call to the free world to confront the threat now, before it is too late." Joel Surnow, Executive Producer of "24."
- "'Obsession' is without exaggeration one of the most important films of our time. ...Please, you must see it." Glenn Beck, now of Fox News but at the time with CNN Headline News.
The film features interviews with Sir Martin Gilbert, Alan Dershowitz, Daniel Pipes, Steve Emerson, a former federal prosecutor, a former Hitler Youth commander. It also presents anti-Islamist Muslims, including the daughter of a terrorist; a former Palestinian terrorist; a Palestinian journalist; and the director of Palestinian Media Watch.
The film demonstrates parallels between past doomed strategies to appease murderers and tyrants and the West's current ignorance and attitude of appeasement toward Iran and radical Islamists. The film also traces blatant similarities between the Nazi movement of World War II and the "Islamo-fascists" of today.
With this "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West. www.radicalislam.org/obsession" free streaming film, there's little reason not to learn how this painful history is poised to repeat.
