Obama and the press: Premier and Politburo

He has an already legendary taste for Kobe beef, one of the most expensive delicacies on the planet, and one of the fattiest, while his wife condescendingly chastises Americans for their diets and "lavish lifestyles." I don't know if I'd feel comfortable even admitting I had an affinity for that particular culinary extravagance – let alone indulging in it regularly – if I had any access whatever to the public purse strings, as does our president, Barack Hussein Obama.

This sort of cavalier behavior – even if the president does pay for his own meals – is pretty much standard fare for the progressive; it isn't given a second thought. Lacking even the rationale of the robber baron, who at least creates jobs through the goods or services he provides, progressives succeed by virtue of their lack of virtue, then enjoy opulence and privilege whilst living out a parasitic existence on the backs of those who do produce.

In the instance of our current chief executive, his inopportune indulgences and trust-fund-baby lifestyle, no pretext nor rationalization is forthcoming, let alone some justification, since his propaganda ministry, the establishment press, absolutely refuses to hold him accountable.

More on that in a bit. The point here, which still escapes so many Americans, being that "a man of color" is capable of being every bit as elitist, avaricious, deceptive, capricious, duplicitous and ignoble as a white one.

I must have been asked a hundred times during the past week why there's so much racial tension in America given that we have the "post-racial" political wunderkind Barack Obama as president. Well, that's an easy one to answer: Like career civil-rights activists and organizations thereof, in the case of this administration, there's a political imperative in perpetuating racial tension.

Case in point: the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People passed a resolution condemning racism they believe to exist in the tea-party movement during their annual conference this week. The press reported this with a great deal of fanfare as they related First Lady Michelle Obama's address to the outfit on July 12.

Now, Michelle Obama, the White House, the NAACP and the press know that the tea party does not harbor nor condone racism. They also know that the tea-party movement isn't even anti-Obama, per se. Yet, they continue to carp on this and proffer those arguments in the hope that mainstream Americans will eschew the tea parties, which actually reflect the sentiments of more Americans than does their own radical leftist ideology.

This is beyond disingenuous. It's disreputable and intellectually depraved.

Yet, it is par for the course. The NAACP's laughable resolution, as well as the first lady interspersing her dialogue with codespeak for augmentation of divisive action and the attendant rhetorical drivel (i.e., encouraging blacks to "increase our intensity") is calculated to generate yet more race-related chaos in the public square, because chaos is that upon which the Obama administration thrives.

To say that this sort of proclamation and its extensive conveyance by the press is Orwellian would be among the grossest of understatements.

All of this also very effectively illustrates the flagrantly negligent comportment of our so-called "journalistic community." The level of reporting in the press these days is akin to that at which we used to snicker in decades past, when Soviet news agencies would broadcast their premiers' grandiose speeches for Soviet citizens' consumption, while we Americans knew that the reality was "anything but."

Another example of this blurring of the line between the press and the Obama administration (actually, there is no line at all anymore, in the operative sense) is the lack of media coverage of the New Black Panther Party voter-intimidation case. When an organization that incites murder and engages in voter intimidation finds legal safe harbor with any administration, America has a serious problem. This problem is even more serious when the press completely ignores the story – which includes an NAACP tie-in, via their lobbying the administration to drop the government's charges of voter intimidation, by the by.

It truly is a case of pre-civil-rights-movement processes being revisited – only this time, whites are being victimized.

And this, believe it or not, is one of the things men like Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and men of their ideology – including many of the president's associates and mentors, and the NAACP leadership – want to see. Despite the positive role millions of whites played in the civil-rights movement, many blacks and those with that radical 1960s worldview will not be satisfied until whites suffer the same ignominy blacks in America once suffered. This will aid in culturally balkanizing us to a degree that will necessitate yet more government intervention and further consolidate the power of the political left.

Thus, it is of paramount importance that conscientious Americans stay the course toward defeating the progressive menace, rather than fighting those skirmishes in which our enemies would sooner see us become embroiled.
