WND senior staff writer Jerome Corsi and WND Editor and CEO Joseph Farah decided recently to offer their own "stimulus package" to readers – good financial advice and insight from a trusted source for FREE.
"The trend among financial reports and newsletters of this kind is to raise the price," said Farah. "We decided to go the other way. Jerry and I never liked the idea of a high-dollar newsletter. We like good financial advice to be available to the people who really need it. Thus, Red Alert will be free starting today."

Corsi launched Red Alert two years ago in response the economic turmoil and dislocation that was only just beginning. His unique background in national security, economics and journalism has provided the perfect mix of disciplines for producing Red Alert every week.
To most Americans, Corsi is the No. 1 New York Times best-selling co-author of "Unfit for Command," the book that may well have tipped the 2004 presidential election from John Kerry. The success of that book prompted Corsi to make a career change into full-time writing on politics and economics – and he has been doing that ever since as a senior staff reporter for WND. Next came "The Obama Nation," another No. 1 New York Times best-seller in 2008.
But that's just the best-known side of Jerome Corsi.
After receiving his doctorate from Harvard University in political science in 1972, Corsi became an expert on political violence and terrorism, in 1981 receiving top-secret clearance from the Agency for International Development, where he assisted in providing antiterrorism training to embassy personnel.
In the financial sphere, for nearly 25 years Corsi worked with banks throughout the U.S. and worldwide to develop financial-services marketing companies to assist banks in establishing broker/dealers and insurance subsidiaries to provide financial-planning products and services to their retail customers. During that time, Corsi developed three different third-party financial-services marketing firms that reached gross sales levels of $1 billion in annuities and equal volume in mutual funds. In 1999, he began developing Internet-based financial-marketing firms, also adapted to work in conjunction with banks.

In his long financial-services career, Corsi has been a noted financial-services speaker and writer, publishing three books and numerous articles in professional financial-services journals and magazines.
Today Corsi is a senior managing director at Gilford Securities. Founded in 1979, Gilford Securities is a full-service boutique investment firm headquartered in New York City providing financial services to institutional and retail clients, from investment banking and equity research to retirement planning and wealth management.
For more than 20 years, Corsi has been a licensed National Association of Security Dealers registered representative, currently holding association licenses as a registered principal, financial principal, options principal and municipals principal. He also holds currently valid insurance licenses in New Jersey in both life and health insurance as well as in property and casualty insurance.

As an author and journalist, besides Corsi's twin No. 1 New York Times best-sellers, he also authored 2005's "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians," and, in that same year, co-authored with Craig Smith of Swiss America "Black Gold Strangehold: The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil" – both for WND Books.
Corsi's "The Late Great USA: The Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada" was another New York Times best-seller, as was "America for Sale." In the last year, he has written two more books, "Why Israel Can't Wait" and even a novel – his first – "The Shroud Codex."
