While unemployment and national debt have gone up since Barack Obama took office, there’s apparently one piece of information that has decreased: the president’s age.
When most people celebrate a birthday, their age usually increases by one year.
But according to Barack Obama’s official MySpace page, the president is not getting any older, he’s actually getting younger, by a total of four years.
Last summer, WND reported how the president’s authorized page on the social-networking site indicated he was a whopping 52 years old, when it should have read 48, if he were indeed born on Aug. 4, 1961, as the White House maintains.
Despite WND’s high-profile coverage of the conflicting information, the display of age 52 remained there until now.
But as the president celebrated his birthday today, it appears Obama finally changed his age in a downward direction, subtracting four years on MySpace to make himself age 49 instead of 53, finally conforming to information posted elsewhere online, such as his official Facebook page. His last login date is even marked with today’s date of Aug. 4, 2010.
WND took screenshots of his pages both then and now to note how even basic information about the commander in chief has been inconsistent.
Interestingly, last year’s screenshot includes a smiley face, as Obama noting his mood was “hopeful.” There’s neither a smiley face nor any mention of a hopeful mood today.
Obama’s birthday mood may have been spoiled somewhat by a brand-new CNN poll indicating nearly six in 10 Americans doubt the storyline he has proffered about his birth in the U.S.
As WND has reported in more than 200 stories, there has been no way to be certain Obama was even born on Aug. 4, 1961, as has been claimed, since he has never produced his original long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate to resolve doubts about his origins, and whether or not he meets the constitutional requirements of being a “natural-born citizen.”
If last year’s information on his MySpace page featured the correct information, it would place Obama’s birth year at 1957.
That would mean he would have been born during Hawaii’s time as a territory of the U.S., the islands’ status from about 1900 until statehood in 1959.
On Obama’s Facebook page today, there’s a note claiming more than 1 million people have signed a birthday card for the president, to which Obama has responded, “Thank you for the birthday card and the well-wishes. It means so much to receive kind words from so many people.”
