"What is truth?"
This question posed by Pontius Pilate to Jesus in the New Testament is one of the most famous inquiries of all time, and the Bible actually provides an answer, as Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

Yes, Jesus Christ, the Creator of the universe, is indeed the truth, and He wants all of us to think and live in righteousness, the way He did.
On that note, WND is proud to showcase two of its most popular and powerful witnesses to the simple, glorious truth conveyed throughout the pages of Holy Scripture: "The Feasts of the Lord" DVD series, and the No. 1 best-selling book, "Shocked by the Bible: The Most Astonishing Facts You've Never Been Told."
TRENDING: Call it the 'End Times Truth': God doesn't play favorites
"The Feasts of the Lord" series is especially timely, since now is the time of year when many of God's festivals observed by the New Testament church are dense-packed into a single autumn month, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar.
The names of some of these holy days include the Feast of Trumpets, also known as Rosh Hashanah in Hebrew, the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) and the Feast of Tabernacles, all loaded rich with meaning about God's plan of salvation for humanity.

Not only did Jesus Himself create all these holidays, He observed every single one of them during His earthly ministry, and will keep them after His glorious return, explains Pastor Mark Biltz, a Christian teacher of Hebraic roots with El Shaddai Ministries.
"I believe these DVDs can profoundly increase the faith of followers of Jesus, giving them a new appreciation of who He is, why He came and what He expects of us," says Joseph Farah, founder and editor of WND, and producer of the video series. "I think most people who view these teachings by Pastor Biltz will be stunned by what they learn about the meaning of these feasts in our lives."
The DVDs also probe the connection of the feasts to the timing of Jesus' return to Earth.
The spring feasts – or appointed times – were fulfilled by the first coming of Yeshua, the Hebrew name of Jesus, which means "Salvation," explains Biltz. The fall feasts will be fulfilled by His Second Coming – in the very near future, he relates in an engaging, informative and entertaining series of teachings you will want to watch again and again and share with your friends, relatives and fellow believers.

Biltz emphasizes that these feasts, described in Leviticus, were not intended for the Jewish people alone. He says they are meant to be observed by Christians as well as to serve as signs of the times in which we live – reminders of the greatest events of the past and foreshadowings of the future.
Biltz says much of the church is asleep – unaware of the significance of the feasts in God's holy time clock. The feasts were not intended to be abandoned by believers after the coming of Jesus. His followers observed them in the first century. It's time to rediscover them again as the hour of His return approaches.
"Your faith will be renewed or heightened to new limits by these teachings, I predict," says Farah. "These are powerful videos – unlike anything ever produced before."

The second exciting and inspiring witness to truth is the No. 1 best-seller, "Shocked by the Bible," personally autographed by author Joe Kovacs, a Bible-believing Christian who is championing scriptural awareness across the globe.
The book not only encourages people to open up their own Bibles to be stunned with its actual content, it shines a light on the spectacular destiny God has in store for you that's rarely, if ever, mentioned in church.
For instance, have you ever really thought about what happens once Jesus comes back, and what you'll be doing for all eternity? Is it merely floating around on clouds, playing songs on harps forevermore? The answers may absolutely floor you.
"When people actually crack open the pages of their own Bible and read the words on its pages, the ultimate destiny for believers is far more glorious than what most people have been told for centuries," says Kovacs.

Many Christians already understand that part of their reward is eternal life, and yes, Scripture confirms that numerous times. But the Bible goes far beyond just saying believers will be alive forever.
"There's a reason why Jesus calls His followers 'the children of God,'" says Kovacs. "It's almost mind-boggling."
The specifics are spelled out in "Shocked by the Bible," which not only reveals your incredible, majestic role in the kingdom of God, but also serves as a giant news report about what's actually contained in the Bible, and what's not.

For instance, guess how many doves were aboard Noah's Ark. The answer is not two.
And guess on which day the Bible says Jesus died. Believe it or not, the Good Book doesn't mention Friday, and even more surprisingly, while the Bible says Jesus rose from the grave, it does not say it occurred Sunday morning. Remember, Jesus' followers found an empty tomb then.
But don't feel bad if you've always assumed otherwise. Like countless millions of people, you've just been misinformed, misled or even (dare we say) lied to about what the Bible actually says.
In his stunning investigation, Kovacs helps both Christians and non-Christians alike find out the amazing truth.

"Shocked by the Bible," already in its seventh printing in two years, instantly skyrocketed to the No. 1 position in three Bible-related categories on Amazon.com, and demand from Christians worldwide has led to its translation into Russian and Korean. Even now, it continues to top the WND best-seller list.
"I'm among the biggest fans of the Bible of all time," says Kovacs. "My goal is to educate people about the solid truth of Scripture and to stop the spread of erroneous information. I want people to crack open their Bibles and see with their own eyes what's actually printed on the pages, and what's not. It's shocking!"
According to Scripture, you won't find "Three Wise Men" mentioned anywhere in the story of Jesus' birth. For that matter, no wise men are said to have shown up at the manger in Bethlehem. The truth straight from your own Bible is that an unspecified number of wise men first met Jesus as a "young child" in a "house," not a babe in a manger, and it might have been more than a year after He was born. Go ahead, look it up for yourself.
Also according to Scripture, you won't find a single mention of Easter eggs, but you will find God warning His people not to have anything to do with a pagan fertility goddess, whose name is synonymous with "Easter."

- Your personal destiny is far greater and more glorious than floating around on clouds in heaven

The book has received high praise from the likes of Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly, radio hosts G. Gordon Liddy, Rusty Humphries and Peter Boyles, as well as WND Editor Joseph Farah.
But it's not just "the professionals" who are raving. Here's a sampling of the reviews from Christians across America posted online:
- "Joe Kovacs has done an amazing job that very few have done without personal prejudice. I found it to be a book ... without self-promotion or group promotion, and it's only promotion that I found in it is what God's book does teach. I cannot recommend this book highly enough for the simple reason of its PURE HONESTY! Anyone who hasn't yet read it, please do....you'll be so very glad you did. P.S. If you love this book, please share it with others. Not enough people stand firm in proving what God's words do indeed teach." – Ned Meacham II

- "Kovacs hits it out of the park with 'Shocked by the Bible.' It's everything you want in a book. Entertaining, educating, and thought provoking to the point that it sends you back to your Bible for further edification. This book is sure to stir up the minds of Christians young and old, and have you discussing its very content with responses of laughter, disbelief, and of course, 'shock.' Kovacs' smooth writing style, levity, and honesty make this a must read." – Robert Blount, Skaneateles, N.Y.
- "Joe Kovacs takes the facts in the Bible to a whole new level. He has the courage to be forward and 'tell it like it is.' For those who have actually read the book they found out that there are a lot of subjects in the Bible that are never spoken of at church or anywhere. I believe that if God had it written, it was intended to be read and talked about. Nothing is candy-coated. I am excited about the truth and relevance this book provides." – Kelly A. Liebbe, Michigan
- "A PURELY HONEST sharing about God's word! I have rarely been so thrilled to see such a home-run effort written about the Bible, when so many write with a personal bias that doesn't speak balanced justice about exactly what kind of book the Bible really is. ... I know the Bible is a massive undertaking, and Mr. Kovacs gave us all something to help make grasping it so much simpler for anyone from any background. This IS indeed truly a work inspired by God himself I believe. This book impressed me so much that I bought well over a dozen copies to share with an array of people who've touched my life, more than anything, as a reminder to them that what God says is simple to understand TRUTH." – Unsui13
- "Finally someone who reads their Bible! I purchased this book and it is all that it claims to be. There are many things that people believe about Christianity and many of them are just pure myths. Sadly, a large number of the people who believe those myths are Christians themselves – simply because they do not read their Bibles and have relied on others to understand it for them. I would highly recommend this book to anyone – not just those interested in the Bible for the first time, but those lifelong Christians who have not yet cracked the Bible open to read what's within its pages. You might just learn something about God that is the exact opposite of what you've been told or believed all those years. Go ahead. Give it a try!" – Woodchk1

- "Joe Kovacs writes as a journalist with an eye looking for the truth. He does what we should all do, he opens the book and reads it without letting custom or 'religious' attitude get in the way. I read the book in one sitting and I recommend it with five stars. There is nothing stuffy or religious about this book, just the truth. Believe me, you will want to read chapter four a couple of times to let the truth sink in past tradition. Go ahead get rid of the blinders." – Dennis Northington, Austin, Texas
